I finish my hair and smile to myself in the mirror, then close my locker after grabbing my math books. Without looking, I turn around and bumb into a girl I don't know. The girl with fake glasses and pretty, straight hair seems nice enough, and then I say, "Sorry, I'm Kendall." to her, while I kneel down to pick up the three books that I dropped in the making. I straighten back up and smile a little to her, then look at the ground, scanning my sandles, black shorts and lace shirt with a darker color undersirt.

Bridgette smiled "I'm bumping into a lot of people today. I'm Bridgette."

I smile at the girl, thanking the Lord that I didn't knock anything out of her hands. "Nice to meat ya, Bridgette." I say, giggling a little at her excuse for me running into her, when the real reason was that I just wasn't looking. I check over Bridgette, memorizing her looks for future reference, so I can recognize her when I see her, because she seems like a good friend. Now all I need to know is if she's rude like the other cheerleaders, or if she's a good person; what is most important.

[Winchester..]

Bridgette smiled at Kendall "What's your first class?"

I have to think for a moment, then I remember that I didn't get my math books for nothing. "Math," I finally say after a minute or two. I still smile at her, and I wonder if there will be a bell for school this year, and then I remember that it rang earlier. "What 'bout you?" I ask her when I'm done thinking everything through like my dumb 'ole self. Then I figure that there are two math classes going on for first hour, the Chalenge and the regular. "Regular math," I correct myself, not wanting to seem stupid by just assuming that there's only one math class this morning for chalenge and regular.

[Winchester..]

"Same." Bridgette said "But Math isn't really my thing so I'll probably be writing."

I smile kindly to her. "Great, at least I have something to look forward to in the morning." I joke with her, but inside I'm really happy that I have a friend now, and she's in at least one of my classes. She writes? "You write?" I ask, not beleiving it because I love to make up little stories and things, but I never have time to jot it down because of my job. I still smile to her, and I know that my straight and pure white teeth look good in my pinkish brownish lip stick. My dirty blonde hair looks good with my facial features, I've been told by my parents and other men that I meet, and I'm happy to be pretty, not ashamed of anoything... That is, on the outside.

[Winchester..]

Bridgette nodded "Yeah, tried writing online once but whenever i try to display it to the public it just....bombs"she said with a small laugh.

I nod to her, then start to speak my mind, "I like to write and I have lots of stories that I could put down, but I just.... I just don't have enough time between school and -" I catch myself, I really do not want her to know about my hobbies, even though I really only do it for money. I continue on, "My parents. They're always bugging me about everything; 'You need to get your grades up,' give the dog a bath,' blah blah blah." I say the quotes in a different voice, like a horrible Elmo expression, and it sounds exactly like what my mom sounds like to me, even though I know she really isn't some chick that gats high on helium all the time.
