"Oh, I guess that makes sense." Judas tilted his head to one side, casting his hair along with him. "I grew up near our community theatre, my Mom used to ride horses before we moved." The horse seemed to be calming down as steadily as he himself was. A grin spread over his face, "Do you want to go finish the garden loop after this? It'll be nice out." He pushed lightly off the fence, landing with a small cloud of dust.

Ali smiled and nodded. She could see him as an actor, standing up there on stage playing lead role in some famous play. "Sure." she replied. She let Echo slowly to a walk for a little bit, then tightened the leash. She lead the horse over to the side where Judas was standing. "Judas this is Echo. Echo this is Judas." she introduced the two with a smirk.

[[Well, Judas and Ali met at the barn, Judas helped her feed the horses and she kind of helped him get over his fear of them. At least a little bit, and now she's working the horse and he's inviting her out to the garden. It's been a bonding experience. l3 ]]

Judas took a half-step back and nodded to the horse, letting out a throat-clearing cough. "Nice to meet you?" He put out his hand in a similar way to offering a handshake, unsure of what exactly to do. It kind of seemed like what she had done to calm the horse when they were still just starting to talk.

Ali shook her head. "All wrong. You need to show confidence. He's not going to hurt you, you just show him who's boss." she said. She reached out and gently took his hand. She turned it over, so his palm was facing up, like he was offering a gift to someone. "Now just stay still and relax." she said quietly. Echo lowered his head quietly and sniffed Judas's hand, his nose skimming the palm on the young mans hand.

Oh God. Oh God. Oh God. Oh God. Judas' arm went as rigid as a board, ready to recall his easily-breakable fingers at any twitch from the horse's mouth. "Yeah, because the less-than-two-hundred-pound human is the boss." The sound of his own voice smoothed him out a bit, allowing a feigned confidence to escape, warbling, to his exterior. "I think a walk sounds much nicer. Maybe even a nice, reliable car."

Ali laughed silently and rolled her eyes. She gave his hand a light squeeze. The horse lifted heachead and stood there, watching them quietly. "Judas calm down. Look he won't hurt you. Trust me." she spoke. She flipped his hand over and placed his palm on the horses snout. She kept her hand ontop of his, guiding his hand up and down the horses face, petting him. "Look at me not the horse. Me." she said looked at him.

Judas let out a heavy breath and allowed Ali's hand guide his to the warm, softness of the horse's muzzle. "The horse has teeth though.." He half-heartedly complained, focusing a pleading gaze on the lovely eyes. A huff of warm breath melted onto his hands from the horse's wide nostrils, with a soothing effect. At least his hand rested comfortably on the stallion's nose now. "Do I pass?" Jude shrugged, the outer corners of his lips twitching up a slight bit.

Ali grinned at his compliant. "The horse is 24. His teeth are wearing down. I have to shove my hand in a horse's mouth everyday." she said. She let go of his hand and scratched Echo on the throat, which was his favorite part to be scratched. "You pass." she said. She grabbe the leadrope and lead the horse into the barn.
