Theoden wrote:Where now are the horse and the rider? Where is the horn that was blowing?
Where is the helm and the hauberk, and the bright hair flowing?
Where is the harp on the harpstring, and the red fire glowing?
Where is the spring and the harvest and the tall corn growing?
They have passed like rain on the mountain, like a wind in the meadow;
The days have gone down in the West behind the hills into shadow.
Who shall gather the smoke of the deadwood burning,
Or behold the flowing years from the Sea returning?

Scavander nodded "Yes, I will be" he nodded and hopped on the young squires horse, eyes on his own fallen steed.

Flare snuck from her chamber and saddled up a horse in the stables.

Kaytan stood up slowly, still avoiding the empty gaze of the dead horse. He nodded and began to walk beside his mounted master, helmet in hand. "It is a good thing that we are nearly to the festival grounds. We are but a few miles away." he said quietly.

The knight nodded in a silent answer and walked off, putting on his silver helmet.

"Thank you" Flare said gratefully and rode of in a jade green dress

Tamina nodded and walked back inside. She stood by the fire, warming her hands.

Kaytan walked beside the horse in silence, occasionally touching its neck to steer it for his master. He didn't really feel like conversation, and the loss of Scavander's fine horse weighted heavily on his thoughts.

flare rode of to the tournament. As she passed many knights flirted tediously with her, as she scrunched her nose in disgust.

Scavander rode on blankly until they reach the festival.

Kaytan held Ellethwen for Scavander to dismount once they reached the fairgrounds. "Where shalt we wait for your event, m'lord?" he asked. "The jousters compete soon, but we need to get settled first."
