I blinked. Yes! I felt like jumping up and down inside, but I tried to keep myself calm as I smiled at Thessaly. "Thanks..." I told her, glancing to my phone again and putting the number into my contacts. Now all I had to do was type a message and send it to Niall. That shouldn't be hard. But even then my hands were shaking just a little with a nervousness. Finally I managed to type, "Hey, what's up?" in the text box. And then I pressed the send button. Hopefully he'd answer.

Zeke. Who's Zeke? I probed my brain for information; surely I've seen this boy around before...right? The name sounded kind of familiar. This is why I hated my A.D.D.; I had a hard time remembering things for long periods of time. So why was Priscilla with Zeke? I couldn't pretend I wasn't slightly curious. "I forgot who Zeke was...-_-" I texted to Priscilla.

I walked across the park, my hoodie hiding most of my face. The weather was warm, but I still liked the feeling of the soft material of the hoodie against my skin. I wasn't too hot anyway. Normally I'd just be strolling the park to admire nature, or maybe read. But today, I didn't really know what I was going to do for the day. That is, until I noticed Thessaly sitting near a tree, holding a book. I was a little nervous, but I knew that if I had decided to like her, I needed to spend time with her. She was very cute. Friendly, nice, and easy to talk to. You know, Lola would want you to be brave... I thought of my sister's voice nagging me constantly to make friends. So I walked up to Thessaly, sitting myself beside her and taking the hood off of my head. Flipping my dark brown bangs out of my face, I gave Thessaly a shy smile. "Whatcha reading?" I asked her quietly.

I looked up when Mason approached me and sat down, taking his hood off. I smiled slightly over at him. "Catching Fire," I replied when he asked what I was reading. "It's the second book of the Hunger Games trilogy. It's awesome." I grinned, closing the book and setting it down now that I was talking to him. I was at the end of the chapter anyways.

I nodded, smiling a little wider. The Hunger Games books were good. "I've read those books. They are pretty epic." I told her. Sure, they were kind of sad stories, but packed with action and romance. "So how have you been?" I kept up casual conversation, despite the warm feeling I got just sitting next to Thessaly. Something about her just made you happy. I didn't know what it was...but I liked it.
