Andrew shook his head,"This is taking too long," he said impatiently. He then picked Amber up, telling her,"Dont move," as he walked out of the pizza place. He then went to his bike and thought,'It's a good thing I'm a talented driver!' as he started the bike and spead away. The only thought driving him to do 80 mph was getting Amber to safety.

Zander finally broke away from Mayson, feeling horrible for doing so but having to do it. She sighed,"Mayson, that was perfect," as she smiled at him. She couldn't help but think of what her dad thought they were doing, innocently watching t.v or something, so in a way she was lieing. That made her feel sick inside, but she didn't care. It was worth it.

Amber was nearly close to passing out as Andrew picked her up. She groaned and winced in pain as she moved a little. Her eyes fluttered open to see him but soon shut again. Before she knew it she was passed out and had no clue what was going on or what was going to happen. The last thing that ran through her mind was a thank you to Andrew.

Mayson felt Zander start to pull away so he was prepared when she did. He smiled, "Almost to perfect to be true." He whispered kissing her softly. His arms wrapped tighter around her, pulling her closer. His head was rested on hers and his eyes closed slightly then opened up slowly, "Now what?" He asked quietly.

Andrew got her to the hospital, suprisingly without being stoped by the cops. He then rushed her inside, still holding her in his arms, and explained,"She's been stabbed, and she's loosing a lot of blood, help!?" he pleaded, looking down at her and noticing his shirt was now blood red. He looked at the nurses and they were already moving. One grabbed a wheel chair while the other rushed off to get a doctor. Andrew hated it, but he set her down in the wheel chair and they wheeled her off. When he tried following he was stopped by a security guard, and he was reluctant as he stood in the hallway, only thinking of how much it was his fault..

Zander smiled at Mayson and shrugged,"I don't know, what do you want to do? It's almost dinner time, so we could go to a resteraunt?" she suggested, hugging him as she was pulled closer. She knew she had to tell her dad she wouldn't be eating with him tonight, so if they were going out she had to know. Maybe then she could tell him what her dad does for a living... She bit the inside of her lip nervously. Thats usually what turned people away from being her friend, besides being a total tomboy.

After fixing Amber up and everything one of the nurses went out to Andrew. They explained to him how much damage was caused, how they fixed it, and that he could go in but she was sleeping. Slowly she could feel herself waking up. Her body seemed to get heavier and her mind ran with many thoughts. Her hearing came back but her eyes still didnt open yet.

Mayson looked down at her with a shrug, "Sure or we could stay here and have supper with your dad. Doesnt matter to me." He leaned down and kissed her forehead gently. He noticed she was biting the inside of her lip and raised his eyebrow. His fingers went under her chin and tilted her head back so she looked into his eyes, "Anything wrong?" He asked.

Andrew nodded at the nurse, but said nothing. He then walked into the hospital room and pulled a chair over to Ambers bed. He sat down and looked at her, his eyes red from near crying and his hands in tight fists from frustration. He shakily said,"I am so sorry Amber... This is all my fault... If I'd let you go with him you would have been hurt, but instead of saving you I've only hurt you more... Please.. Forgive me," he pleaded, resting his head in his hands and not realizing she was awake. He held back the tears still.

Zander smiled,"Nope nothing wrong, and that's a brilliant idea, we can stay here and eat with my father," she repeated what he said. She then heard knocking on the door and her fathers voice,"Is everything alright in there?" he asked through the door. Zander felt panicked, but then called back,"Nothing, were fine... I was wondering if Mayson could stay for dinner," she asked back. There was a small pause, and then a happy,"Sure sure, he can stay. I'm making some spaghetti, is that alright?" he asked. Zander looked at Mayson for the answer, it was her favorit, but if he didn't like it then her father would have to make something else.

Amber heard Andrew's voice and his words. Her eyes stayed closed as she took a few relaxing breaths. Slowly and with a wince her hand went out to caress his cheek. Her mouth opened slightly as she began to breath longer, "Its not your fault...i just didnt want to see someone who's helped me get hurt...now dad is gone so it worked out in a way..." She whispered hoarsly as her eyes fluttered open slowly.

Mayson heard her father knock and he pulled Zander closer as his heart sped up. Before he could speak or do anything Zander had already spoken. He listened quietly as her and her father talked. His gaze went down to her as her father asked if spaghetti was alright. He nodded, "Yeah spaghetti sounds great sir!" He yelled out to him as he smiled down at the love of his life.

Andrew's head shot up and he put a hand over her hand as he continued to frown. "But now what? What will happen to him? Will you still have to live with the man?" he asked, only hoping that the mad father would be put away for child abuse or something... In a way people may think he himself was to blame! Andrew did have a criminal record, but mostly stealing not fights. He forced a smile though as he shook the thoughts away,"Never mind, whats important is that your going to get better," he sighed. Suddenly the pain from his wounds made him soar, and he didn't want treatment so he had probably bleed a little.
(I forgot where he was stabbed or scraped.. XD)

Zander agreed,"Thanks dad!" and inwardly sighed. She then heard him say one last thing,"Alright it'll be done in a half hour, so Zander, behave," he almost ordered. His foot steps retreated and Zander relaxed a little. She sighed and rested her head on her pillow. "That could have been bad.." she whispered, looking at Mayson and chuckling happily. Her heart stopped beating as quickly and she didn't want to leave the warmth of Mayson's arms, but she had to. "We should get ready for dinner," she suggested, feeling butterflies take over what her stomach use to be.

Amber looked at him with a slight smile but it showed pain. Her eyes closed then slowly opened again, "He will most likely go to jail for something...and i'll be alone it that house of memories..." She bit her lip as her eyes went around the room. She had almost forgotten where she was until the pain of her breathing reminded her. Her eyes went to her patched up shoulder and she sighed as her eyes went back to him, "Better? I've never in my life been better because i have someone by my side who protected me when my father pulled out a knife." Her gaze went to his arm and then up to his eyes again, "You should get that checked..." She whispered.

Mayson chuckled at her dads orders then thought, to late. His gaze went back down to Zander and he laughed a little, "Ya but it didnt...thank god..." He whispered, kissing her forehead. He sighed and nodded, "Ya lets get ready...you want to have a quick shower?" He asked sitting up. He ran his fingers through his messed up hair and his shoulders revealed scratch marks.

Andrew looked down at his shoulder and shook his head,"I'm fine... And I thought you had a brother, so you won't be alone.. And if you'd like, you could stay at my house with me and my mom," he suggested. He hated the thought of her being alone. Scared and having to relive the memories of pain over and over again alone!? He would personally go crazy for her. That would not happen. He then smiled,"I couldn't let that mad man get a hold of you, he was threatening you... What kind of boyfriend wouldn't fight for his girlfriend?" he asked, wanting to make it clear they were in this together.

Zander nodded,"But not together... There's a bathroom right in the hall you can use, I'll use my bathroom," she explained, kissing Mayson's shoulder. "Make sure you look good in front of this man, he holds your future in his hands," she joked as she got out of bed. She grabbed some cloths and went to her bathroom, closing the door by leaving a small crack open. She ran a hand through her clumped up hair and laughed a little. She's never done anything like that ever! She was so excited and happy and had the feeling in the pit of her stomach that she could never be so happy. She sighed and started the shower, jumping in while it was still cold so she could get out quicker.

Amber nodded, "Yeah i have a brother but we dont get along the greatest...lets just say he was always my parents favourite since he is quarter back on the football team and is always winning awards and such...You'd really want me to live with you and your mom?" She asked almost raising her eyebrow but winced, "Forgot he got me in the head too." She managed a small laugh then his words made her gasp. Boyfriend...girlfriend? They werent together yet...were they? Her smile came out though as thoughts ran through her mind, "I guess your right." She mumbled.

Mayson pouted as she said not together. He chuckled and kissed her head before getting up also. His first reaction was to stretch and yawn then stand. He grabbed his clothes throwing on his boxers then went into the other washroom. He started the shower then climbed in. His stomach did flips as his mind reacted the scenes between the two. He smirked to himself.
