"Japanese. Got it." He winked. "Just messing with you, fre- Baka?" He shook his head. "I swear, sometimes I think you're from Japan." Then, as he asked her how her life had been, Taylor had frowned. Joey immediately knew his mistake, but the words had already slipped out. See, that was one thing about Joey; he didn't have a filter. The boy ran nothing through his head before letting himself blurt it out. Often enough, people teased him about it in a good-natured way, but there was those times where he might let something bad or offensive slip. This was one of those times. He looked around, a bit nervously. How would Taylor react and what would she say? Well, that answer cam soon enough. She answered honestly. He frowned. "Oh, sorry about that." The moment following, she brightened again. Oddly enough, Joey had a feeling that may not be exactly... real. But, he went along with it, smiling all the same. "Yeah, I guess." He glanced over at the other New Direction members. "How do you guys handle her?" He questioned, gesturing to Taylor playfully. "She's so hyper!"

I blinked as he allowed me to slip into my mask, and I knew that he knew better. I was glad he didn't draw attention to me. I giggled as he commented on my hyper nature and I grinned.
"I'm hyper and proud? Sure am!" I laughed and turned to grab my Frappachimo and sipped it happily.
I turned back to him, grinning as a set of the foam and cream had made a mustache over my upper lip.
"I beg your pardon sir?" I said in a deep, cheesy British accent,"But I do believe that you are the hyper one~"

I laughed again, lovig to hang out with Joey. It seemed like, even though he was childish and fun, that he was more mature than anyone at times. He understood.
I was glad he was one of my closest friends.
He knew me better than anyone.
"Joey! We should totally hang out more! I mean it! Ash would love it if you came and saw her again!" I laughed.
Ash was my six year old little sister, whom I took care of while my parents are out. Which is often, considering my mom was always at the hospital, and my father always left.
But it doesn't matter.
It never should, because Ash and I can do just fine on our own!

Joey laughed. "And now you're being Tay and some bad British impersonator on me? Not cool, man." Joey joked, rolling his eyes. "And you have a mustache. Might wanna get that off." He rocked on the legs of his chair, careful not to tip over. but hey, Joey was a clutz. An accident waiting to happen. "Sure, I can stop by sometime," he said, shrugging. "Just let me know." Two reasons he said yes. One, Tay and Ash were fun the few times he'd hung around them together. Two, Taylor may need some help taking care of Ash, and Joey would happily oblige. Ha, it always seemed to be two reasos for Joey, didn't it?

Eli laughed, "Yeah, it kinda sucks, and you guys are like this," he crossed his fingers then paused. "Not creepy like that," he laughed, never being good with his words, he often stumbled over what to say, well, in his mind at least, but when he spoke he sometimes said the stupidest things. "I mean...what you said," he laughed, thinking of who he would have as his duet partner. "Sounds hard," he sighed with a small grin. He had zoned out in Glee Club which saddened him since that was the only thing he really looked forward to on a school day.

"Don't be," she gave grin and brushed her hair behind her ear. Naomi giggled, "Yes, gorgeous out," she gestured to the dead trees decorating the scenery of the coffee shop. If you looked at it, the red, orange, brown, and yellow blended nicely together. She smirked, "Dang, that usually works best when it's a horrible day out," she laughed.

I laughed and hugged him from behind, giggling.
"You're the most awesome friend ever Joey!" I sighed, smiling cheerily now.
I released him and made sure he didn't fall as I poked his tipsy chair. I tilted my head and giggled, laughing as I poked the wood.
"Yknow if you sit like that you'll fall right?" I asked him, musing the fact that he was so senseless at times.
I had gotten somoff track that I glanced up and saw the clock. It was already 4 o'clock?! I gasped, jumping to my feet and grabbing my drink, forgetting my bag in the boon as I dashed past Joey and waved to him.
"Sorry! I gotta go! I have to meet Ash when she gets off the bus!" I explained before I ran out the door, sprinting to my home.

Seth walked aimlessly through the corridors in silence as others chatted loudly among each other near him. He, being a quiet, shy, quirky guy, paid no mind to anyone as he stopped to get into his locker. He took a few textbooks and put them in his backpack, and set off again after closing his locker. Occasionally he felt a jock push him aside as some sort of joke, but ignored them. Bullying happened to him almost every day, and he felt there wasn't a need to try and stop it. It would only draw attention to himself, and attention was one thing that he didn't like at all.

Savanna hung around the outskirts of the hallways, talking to a couple of friends with a smile on her face. Setting off to get to her locker, she saw a couple of her guy friends and said a brief, yet friendly hello. She opened her locker and put her social-studies binder inside. Unlike a lot of other girls in her grade, she had no mirror in her locker to look at herself with. She wasn't very self-conscious about her appearance, as personality mattered much more to her.
