Eli was silent the whole conversation the New Directions was having. He didn't mind which song, just as long it wasn't crappy. If it was a horrible song, of course he would have to butt in, but for now they were doing fine suggesting ideas and slapping each other on the arm. Fun, he thought and chuckled. He sipped his coffee and raised an eyebrow as Victoria made her way to the fancy, schmancy Warblers with their perfectly pressed blazers. If McKinley High ever had uniforms, he would murder the head of the board who approved of that. He rolled his eyes as she made some smart-ass comment about girls talking to boys. Personally, she always got on his nerves with her sassy attitude. "Just deal with it," he muttered, as the rest of the group found their way toward the Warblers table. He could hear them snickering, Where's Naomi when we need her? he thought glancing around the coffee shop.

Naomi was mesmerized by the smell of her perfectly creamed coffee. So far, the smell got her woken up. She took a sip and a smile spread over her lips. How I love my coffee, she thought laughing. As she turned around, she saw most of New Directions mingling with the Warblers. She swooped in and stood next to Lily, "Whatcha' guys doing?" She paused and added, "Keep your friends close and your enemies closer. I see how it is," she winked and gave a small laugh. Of course, she predicted that Victoria was the one who migrated the group over. The tomboy of the group, Naomi thought. She looked around the small group huddled near the table, she wondered where Eli was. She laughed as she spotted him raising an eyebrow at her, completely puzzled by her act of actually joining the group and not doing her own random thing. She nodded her head toward the group and he shook his head no with a chuckle.

Lily paused as Naomi asked her that question. "Actually, I have no idea," she said with a momentary blank stare. The Warblers were fun to stare at, but honestly a drag to talk too. That was too bad. She turned and walked sideways, squeezing between Naomi and Ryvan, even though she could have easily gone around either one, and headed back to the table. She sat back down and put her elbows on a low coffee table, her head resting on her hands with a heavy sigh. Her gray flecked gaze flicked to Eli, the only one left at the table. "Well, hiya!" she said in a tone that seemed only half as giddy as the words would suggest. She straightened up and sat back. "Warblers are boring!"

Ryvan put his face in his hands and lifted his head slowly. Then he put on a friendly smile and exchanged glanced with Naomi as Lily left. With nothing to say, he looked around and rocked back and forth. Why was he there again? Oh yeah, to stop Lily from saying something she had already said by the time he got there. Sometimes he wondered if it was a curse or a blessing to have her as his closest friend.

He laughed, "Yeah, but sometimes it's fun to watch people watching them," Eli laughed, nodding to a group of girls gawking at the all boys glee club. "Major eye candy for chicks," he laughed then realized who he was talking to, "No offense," he gave a slight chuckled and straightened his back. That did no good, as he hunched onto the table taking another sip of coffee. "So, Owl City sounds good," he said remembering the conversation before the Warblers came into all this. "For the sectionals I mean, but," he gave a sly grin, "Dontcha think it's a bit early, I mean it's weeks away."

The Warblers were now silent and she laughed silently. Well, tried to laugh silently, in which she completely utterly failed. Now it looked like she was laughing no reason. She calmed herself and exchanged a small smile to Ryvan. It now seemed their group had become a crowd. Two's company, three's a crowd, she reminded herself, giggling at her inside joke with...herself. The conversation had now gone dead and she pouted for a moment and couldn't contain her giddiness. "Sooo...nice weather we're having?" she raised an eyebrow, seeing if anyone would actually join her in socializing.

"None taken," she said with a dismissive wave of her hand. "Oh, yes, well, I was arguing with Ryvan more with this week's assignment than the sectional song ideas," she laughed. "You know, we have to take a song that isnt a duet and make it one that means something to us," reminded him. "Its really hard," she whined. "All the good ideas have romantic references and that would be awkward to sing with Ryvan." She had assumed they would be partners, sense they always were. They were kind of all each other had.

He couldnt help but laugh at the attempt at small talk and crossed his arms, a smile still quivering on his face. "Im sorry," he apologized quickly. "Its just..." he couldnt finish the sentence. It just cracked him up how the girls were all over the Warblers when they knew darn well they could not be trusted. Why bother? It should piss him off, but he actually found it amusing. Once he regained himself he said, "Yes, its rather nice."

Eli laughed, "Yeah, it kinda sucks, and you guys are like this," he crossed his fingers then paused. "Not creepy like that," he laughed, never being good with his words, he often stumbled over what to say, well, in his mind at least, but when he spoke he sometimes said the stupidest things. "I mean...what you said," he laughed, thinking of who he would have as his duet partner. "Sounds hard," he sighed with a small grin. He had zoned out in Glee Club which saddened him since that was the only thing he really looked forward to on a school day.

"Don't be," she gave grin and brushed her hair behind her ear. Naomi giggled, "Yes, gorgeous out," she gestured to the dead trees decorating the scenery of the coffee shop. If you looked at it, the red, orange, brown, and yellow blended nicely together. She smirked, "Dang, that usually works best when it's a horrible day out," she laughed.
