Lyra smirked and shook her head, "It doesn't make you sound stupid," She replied softly, though she never really liked them.

"Thanks." he said with a laugh "Most people are like 'Oh your gay' or something like that. People are stupid." he said with a shrug. "Plus, it's not bad to be gay. You can like whoever you want to like." he said "Even though people do have their opinions."

He layed his head back and cursed under his breath. He looked over at her. "I'm not making you get out and fixed that."

"So what now? Theres never cell service here..." She climbed in the back, look out the back of the window. "So I guess we just wait it out..."

"Yeah I guess so." he sighed and looked forward. "Out of all day's my car chooses today to not work? Thanks dumb car." he said smiling in irony.

"Its a good thing I like rain..." She sat in the back seat.

"I'm really sorry that my car's being so stupid.." he said turning around looking at her.

Lyra shrugged and nodded slightly, "I guess," She sighed thinking about it, "It's just the use of homophobic slurs that make me cringe." She addmitted.

He smiled and climbed into the back seat with her. He looked over at her and smiled bigger.
