Ally sighed, not replying to what Dice had just told her. As we walked, who was looking along the beach ahead of her, not even aware that Dice was beside her, texting all their friends, including Liam. She knew that Dice was right. Guys were stupid, they didn't see things like this until it came and hit them square in the face. Ally kicked the soft, light, white-coloured sand in her step before speaking once more.
"Why must you guys be so clueless!" she groaned, linking her arm playfully to Dice's.
"Plus, I don't want him to flat out reject me. It'll make me feel that telling him I feel wa-" I was cut off by a sudden greeting. Dice was the only one who knew I liked Liam, and I wasn't about to go leave it in the ears of somebody who would tell him. The only reason I was talking about it now, was because Dice was the only person with me. I looked around to see Jadyn walking up with her Reebok bag slung over her shoulder. I knew by judging her choice of clothing that she planed to spend a while on the beach. "Oh, Hi Jadyn.." I said, trying to hide he fact that I was just talking about liking somebody..

"Hey," He started, giving her a smile dirpping with boyish charm. "I was just about to text you to see if you wanted to hang out." He stated, putting one of his hands in his pockets, and grabbing out his phone. He texted all of his friends besides Jadyn and Ally, so that would include Liam, Jace, Finn, Anna and Keelie He quickly typed:
"Hey, Ally Jadyn and I are at the beach. We're right next to the street entrance by Jadyn's place, how about you meet us?
He read over the text, then pressed send, outting his phone away and looking at Jadyn. "Whats up Jadyn?" He asked, rocking back onto the heels of his feet then pushing forward onto the balls of them instead, then finally coming to peace with himself and standing normally once more. He fixed his glasses once more and ran a hand through his hair. He hoped it didn't look too humiliating... But whatever.
He looked at the familiar girl and wondered why they hadn't become good friends. She was cool, seemed collected and wasn't totally preppy and idiotic like the more.. Popular people that he knew. He really didn't like said people, and veered away from them as much as possible. Of course, there were your good popular guys and girls that were cool. Like Ally. Everybody loved her.. He just didn't approve of the blonde bimbos. Anyways, Miss Jadyn also skateboarded, which happened to be one of Dice's favorite past-times.. Maybe he'd call her more often.

Ally dropped the linked arm with Dice. The last thing she wanted was for everyone to think they were together. But, she supposed people weren't silly. They knew he was one of her best friends. He had been since they both moved to Haven Brook. She smiled at Jadyn, and waited for her reply. beside her, Dice was texting everyone else, and couldn't help but to glance over. Liam was on that list of people. Ally bit the inside of her bottom lip for a moment, and looked up. She was now hoping that Jadyn didn't hear them talking, because now she knew that Dice had asked Liam if he wanted to hang out, and he would spend the day trying to get them to talk. But Ally always talked to Liam. Thing was, Dice wanted them to talk.

Jadyn glanced at Ally. She really didn't hang out with her, but she did know she was a nice person who would help the people she cared about. "Nothing much, just coming out for a little swim." She said glancing at the waves as she said that. Jadyn didn't really surf, but she did sometimes and she okay at since she skateboarded, but she just didn't practice that much. She wasn't really sure what to say. "So, um, what were you guys talking about?" She finally came up with. Wasn't that the way most people asked to start a conversation? She didn't know. The things she watched were either just horror movies or fantasy movies, nothing really realistic though she did watch some chick flick movies with her sister when she was younger.

>>| Anna walked along the edge of beach where the waves came up to meet her bare feet. She carried her flip-flops in her hand as she walked along, wiggling her toes in the sand. She smiled softly as she brushed the hair out of her face and pushed it behind her ear. She wore a pair of light-washed jeans with a few rips in the front, but nothing that revealed her skin too much. As for her top, she wore a plain white tank top with a ribbon attached. She felt her phone buzz in her pocket and quickly pulled it out. She read over the text, then quickly looked up to spot the three of them a little ways away. Her gaze brightened and she quickly dropped her flip-flops to slide her feet into them. She raced across the sand towards them, holding her sunglasses in place on the top of her head. She came to a stop beside them and smiled kindly, "Hi guys." She quickly smoothed down her hair and dusted off her shorts and shirt. |<<

Ally looked back at Jadyn and instantly had the feeling she had heard something, or she could just sense it. Ally wasn't too good at keeping these things in, it came with being vulnerable. "Nothing" she replied, but slightly too quick. Instantly, Ally regretted her fast tone, and bit the inside of her bottom lip, which was tightly closed into the top lip. And then another friend, Anna Emerson, began to slowly run over to us, trying to keep her flip-flops on her feet. She was also holding her sunglasses to her head, not wanting to lose the nice frames. Her appearance almost made Ally sigh of relief. it would maybe draw Jadyn away from wondering what she and Dice had been talking about before she had joined them. Plus, Ally's actions were slippy. She wasn't thinking. "Hey Anna" she said, and smiled

"Oh, uh... Ally, its fiiine. We were talking about who I'm madly in love with of course. Changes everyday you know." Dice stated sarcastically, nudging Jadyn's side. She probably knew he was lying.. Well duh. He added sarcasm to it, but then he saw Anna coming towards them. "Anna!" He said, relieved to have something to bring Jadyn's mind off of his and Ally's conversation. He knew for a fact he was the only one that knew about Liam and her. Ally didn't tell many people about her curshes until they were really actually public.
Dice looked at Anna, complimenting her attire. He never wore shorts... So he appreciated her long jeans, torn or not.

Jadyn smirked at Dice's sarcasm. He seemed like a really fun person to be around. She turned and saw Anna coming towards them. "Hey." She said to Anna. She wasn't that close to Anna either, but like always, she seemed nice. Jadyn looked at Anna's long jeans. How could she stand being in long pants in this weather? Especially in the summer time? Jadyn always wore shorts in the summer, never usually skirts. She was usually what someone would call a tomboy, but she really didn't care what stereotype she was in, well she preferred having no stereotype at all.

The screen door to Keelie's front door clicked shut as she left her house. The 7 month golden retriever, Lights, bounding ahead while Monty, an 8 year old basset hound, lagging a bit behind. She slowed her pace to keep Monty from straining himself. He was already gettin a bit of arthritis in his legs, but luckily he was perfectly healthy otherwise. She glanced down at Monty, his dark brown eyes sparkling. She smiled as Lights trotted back and sniffed his face. Her hands gently flicked as she moved the leash to bring the dogs to a walk again.
Keelie made her way towards a field in a bit of a rural area. Sitting down by a patch of white daisies, she took the leashes off of the dogs. She picked one of the white and yellow flowers and used her finger nail to poke a hole through the stem. She picked another and strung the stem through the hole, creating a sort of chain out of the two flowers. She continued to do so with many more, creating a long chain of them. With the last one, she tied the last stem to the very first flower. It created a circle of daisies, which she placed on Monty's head after calling him over. She smiled and kissed his nose, causing him to lick her face.
Once again, she started to make the same type of thing, but a larger circle. She whistled for Lights, who came happily trotting over at the sound of the call. She placed the flowers around her neck and rubbed her ears. She looked at the patch of flowers, picking one more and bringing it to her lips. The petals were soft against the pale flesh of her lips, causing a gentle smile to play across her face.

She grinned at them, fixing her sunglasses by pushing them up a little farther. Her haze flickered from Jadyn, to Ally and finally rested on Dice. "Where's everyone else?" At that moment, her stomach growled loudly. She blushed with embaressment and placed her hand on her stomach, "Sorry. I haven't really eaten today." She noticed they were looking at her jeans and wondered why her jeans seemed so interesting. She shrugged the though away and shook her head, allowing her hair to fall infront of her face. |<<
