Dice woke up to the familiar little jingle that signified somebody had texted him. He groaned, loudly, and reached over to the table as he slapped his hand on the phone which lied there, sitting next to him. He poked at his glasses, which were askew on his nose and looked to the TV, where some morning show about omlets was on the Food Network. Eh, must've crashed on the couch last night. That last episode of Iron Chef was just so riveting.
Dice straightened his glasses and sat up, running a hand through his hair and uttering a huge yawn as he grabbed the slapped Android Smart phone in his big hand.
From: Ally Your Bff whom you love
{She'd changed that}
Are you coming?
What a simple question.
Dice unlocked his phone and typed something quickly, pressing send.
Yeah yeah. I'll be there soon. I fell asleep on the couch. You get to see my bed-head babe.
He had texted as he stood up, reaching his arms way above his head so that his belly poked out of the Aperature Laboratories slim fit shirt he had on. Dice pulled up his blue skinny jeans, scratched his previously mentioned belly, went to the bathroom, cleaned his glasses, and walked out of the door without any shoes on, screaming "I'm leaving you and running off to Paris to live with a sexy mistress! We're going to have babies." To which he got the reply from his father "Have fun! Send me a post card!"
Dice walked along the sidewalk for only a few minutes, then his bare feet were met with warm, soft sand. He walked for about five minutes before he saw the figure of his lovely friend Ally.
"Hey! I'm here!" He called, walking up to her and holding out his arms for a hug.
