I smiled at Ally and said, "Why thank you." I couldn't help but be proud of what I'd just accomplished. If I could do that everyday, pretty soon random girls would come up to me and say that. "I didn't know anyone was watching me." I smiled at Ally and noticed a bit of blood dripping down the side of her face. I got a little concerned, and wanted to make sure she wasn't in pain. It just comes naturally to me, considering I take care of Destiny most of the time. I always am protective of girls, whether they're emotionally or physically stable.

Ally smiled at Liam....crush or no crush, he was just soo easy to talk to. She shrugged after he pointed out he wasn't aware or her watching. "Well I guess you coud say the waves draw jn my attention as much as they do with you....that was a good spot for a wave. Plus you caught it too" she said, and smiled before even becoming aware that he was lookibng at the amall bit of blood that still remained above her left temple, just below her hair line. However, Ally felt little to no pain on the area of the small cut, where te tail of her board had successfully hit her. She was used to little flemishes like that one. Frankly, she was a big enough clutz to end up with several small cuts as such over the years dhe had spent taking waves.

Liam

I nodded and smiled, "The moment I saw it coming, I knew I had to hurry to catch it. Thank goodness I did though, it was extremely fun to ride." I paused for a moment, the two of us just looking at each other. Slowly reaching out my hand, I gently touched the cut where the blood was coming from. "Are you ok?" I asked quietly. I knew that your skull holds a lot of blood, so even the tiniest puncture can cause a lot of blood to come pouring out, but I was still concerned. What if she had a concussion or something?

Ally was caught in that same gazing moment of pure silence. It seemed somehow...sweet maybe? And then Liam did whay Ally expected at the least. Slowly, he lifted his caring hand to her forehead, which had almost stopped bleeding, and actually asked is she was ok. And the thing was, Ally could tell he actually cared. He wasn't just making conversation. As a reflex to his touch, her hand mived up to the cut too, her skin touching his as their fingers sort of...clasped together. Without moving her hand, Ally spoke up. "Yeah...just a clutzy surf accident. Lost all my confentration" she told him

I smiled at Ally. "I'm sure it wasn't all your fault. I bet the board had something to do with it too." I let out the tiniest laugh, hoping that it would let her know I was joking with her, but still concerned about her head. "Well it looks like the bleeding is going down, but I don't want you getting back in the water. Because of sharks and all." I paused a bit, reading the expression on her face, and hoping it was a good one. "Do you want to lay out on the beach? I'll stay with you, if you'd like."

Ally give a faint lqugh at Liams comment, but shewas still smiling. "Sharks don't come up this close, this early Liam" shesaid, her tone friendly as she made the remark. But then realised...what was she doing? Liam was offering to sit with her, alone, on the beach. That was when she shrugged. "V
But you're probably right...guess I'm out of the water for at least half the day!" she commented and then smiled. "Thanks" she said, refering to his offer to stay with her...maybe she didn't need to tell him how she felt. Perhaps, something might just happen

I smiled, grateful that Ally accepted the offer. I took her hand gently and led her to where my towel was. After setting down my surf board, I guided her to the ground. I sat down next to her, holding my knee against my chest with my elbow, and leaning on my other hand. "I feel like I haven't seen you much so far this summer. How have you been?" I asked, genuinely curious. She looked amazing and I realized that I've never thought of her more than a friend.... Until now. It's as though I've got permission to like her, to be with her and hold her. If only she'd let me, and I hope she would. The only problem is that I have to start it off.

When Liam grabbed Allys hand, she only hesitated for a moment before allowing her fingers clasp around his. She allowed him to lead her over to sit on his board, knowing she didnt have to worry about her own things because Primrose was still lying on guard around her things, having pearched herself right on top of her board. Ally looked back to Liam as she noticed a question being asked. He'd asked her how she as been, genuing wanting to know. Although it had only been about a week into summer, it had been just that amount of time since she has actually talked to him. In school, they went around in this same group, so talked a good bit. Ally shrugged, bringing up her legs against her chest while still leaving her toes in the warm sand. She leaned on her knees, crossing her arms before replying. "I've been good. Not much has really been happening though....and I genuinly think these are the best waves we have gotten so far" she comented. But these waves were good, wherr as the last week of waves could barley reach shore.

I nodded, listening to her silky smooth voice. If her voice had a taste, it would be chocolate cake. "Yeah, the waves last week kind of.... How do I put this nicely? They sucked. Not to be rude or anything, but they really weren't very good." Leaning in towards Ally, I laid down, resting on my elbow.

Ally smiled as he leaned closer, looking down to hide the small moment she had with a blush. When she felt her cheeks were no longer war, she pushed her caramel brown hair back behind her ear and smiled at Liam as he lay back, supported by his elbows. "To be honest" she started, "I don't think that is a nicer way to put it... those waves were truly disappointing" she finished. But she did feel it was true. Ally felt that this conversation, to her, was the easiest for her to have. This was a boy she was crushing on. It was hard to talk about certain things without blurting I love you out. Honestly, Ally didn't want to be the one to make the first move, she just wanted him to take that step, for him to feel that way. Girls liked it when guys, especially those they pacifically liked, told them how they felt. And Ally was one of those girls, she hated being the one to make the first move, plus she has never really had to. In school, she is always with a rather large group mixed with both guys and gals. It was the reason she had a line of past boyfriends, although little to none stayed around long enough to actually get to know her. Liam on the other hand, she has known for almost eight years, since she had moved here. There was nothing about her he needed to actually learn...or maybe there was but he had most of it at hand. He probably didn't know how vulnerable she was...Going out with him would just be easy, simple....perfect even.
