Natalie paused for a moment, then relizing it was sign language she signed back, "I'm Nat."

Natalie's smile faded an she silently looked down at her shoes, unsure of what to say next. "Why are you in here..?" she signed in a small, yet curious voice. She was still being causious around the girl.

"Attempted murder. And murder of an old couple. You?" Emerald looked down. Saying she was a murderer, even to another prisoner, wasn't the best way to start off a tiny friendship. Oh well.

Natalie felt her throat get dry, she swallowed scratchily. She felt a bit nervous around her, "I um..well, got blamed for murder..but I didn't.." I paused for a moment, flipping my hair out of my eyes.
