He is pretty good and enjoys math. Most of the time he knows what he is being taught, but doesn't let anyone know how smart he is so they won't bother him. His favorite is trigonometry, all the functions interest him greatly.
He also likes science. He enjoys looking at DNA and determining what types fit where.
Personalities:
Joshua used to be a very out going and loving kid, but now he is very solitary, silent and some what mean when bothered. There is still a nice guy underneath the crunchy skin, but it'll take work to reach that person. Josh keeps his nice side hidden and locked in a cage for fear that if it was let out, it would be smashed.
History:
Josh was born
Family:
February 21st, 1994.
He had an older brother named Derek, they were 3 years apart. Then he had a younger sister named Madeline, she was 5 years younger than him. At the age of 13, Derek died in a car crash. His friends mom was driving him and a friend when a drunk driver crashed into them, pushing them into the lake. They didn't have enough time to escape.
After the death of his brother, his parents split and his father gained custody. When visiting his mother at the age 14, 4 years after his brothers death, his mother confessed to Josh that she has a drug addict, addicted to Heroine, she killed herself in front of him and his little sister. She was depressed about her oldest sons death and not having custody over the kids.
After the mothers death, Josh was left to care for his sister and his father. Although his father was supporting and loving to the children, Madeline still liked her older brother better.
Unfortunately the same year their mother killed herself, Madeline was diagnosed with brain cancer. she battled cancer for 2 years before passing away at the age of 11.
As a result of the deaths, Josh is now solitary and will not talk unless he generally feels comfortable around the person. It is hard to get to him, his father can't even do that, for after his sisters death, they grew apart and lived like they didn't know each other. Despite his fathers attempts, Josh won't say much besides simple answers. To get to hear his history will take a very good and tight relationship. But a friend may be able to pry him open.
