Spencer nodded. He totally understood. "Okay, baby." Wow, 'baby'. He hasn't called her that in months. He sat in a chair, he couldn't feel a thing, but knew he was sitting. "They can't see me you know."

When he called her 'baby,' Kahri's heart ached. She had been able to heard that from him in what felt like a lifetime. "And I know, I probably need to stop talking to you when they get in here..." She walked over to him and gently planted a kiss on the top of his head. "Promise you'll be here?" She bent down and looked into his eyes. They were so familiar yet so different.

Andrew caught her smile with growing hope, his heart fluttering. Andy loyally followed her out the door, walking through the wood, and trailing behind Mariah toward the car. He manifested in the passenger seat seconds before she reached her door."What a lovely day for a drive." Andrew admired in a cynical sense. Although, his eyes were trained on her.

James sighed, Carsyn always was the flustered type, one of the things he loved about her."Will, that makes it quite difficult to answer." James looked outside at the school. Wondering if she was in a hurry, and if he should come along."Do you have somewhere to go..?" He asked uncertainly, not exactly wanting her to leave him, but supposed it was for the best. Atleast she'd have some time to process all this new information.

"I'll stay here the whole time." He sat there, and rocked back in forth. Something he always got in trouble in school for. "You'll even be able to see me, I promise. And if I poof for more than 5 minutes, you can yell out for me.. I'll hear you."

Mariah giggled. She loved it when they would drive in the car together. She started driving and turned on the radio. A song came on that she loved. It reminded her of Andrew. She started singing to him, although her singing wasn't great.

Kahri smiled slightly and nodded, immensely relieved that she'd be able to see him the whole time. "Okay. Thank you, Spencer," she said softly. Now that she had him, she wasn't sure that she'd be able to let go. Not easily, at least.

Sighing, she looked over at him, and said, "Do you know everything, now? Or just a little more than a.... A living person would know?" She choked on the last few words, but swore to herself she wouldn't cry. "Like, what's going to happen in the future, or something like that?" Glancing at the school, she continued to talk, "And yeah, I do. But, you can come with me, if you'd like...." Carsyn didn't really want to tell him what exactly she had to go into the school for, and she didn't know why.

Andrew grinned, hearing her flawless voice carry a tune. He began to hum along, to him, she sounded perfect. Although, the opinion might differ from another perspective. In his mind, she was Aphrodite, Calypso, or Venus. Take your pick, to Andy she was all three. Her smile gave him hope, her laugh gave him strength, her touch brought him to life.
When Mariah attempted to stop singing, Andrew shook his head, smiling sadly,"Don't. You sound happier when you sing." He wanted her to be happy.

James frowned, trying to answer her question as simple as possible, without making it more confusing. He opened his mouth to speak, clearing his throat,"I.." James paused, his gaze far off in the distance."It's hard to describe. My mind feels foggy, like there's some much contained, but something is blocking it from coming in a clear signal. Like a tv with static visual. So no. To answer your question, you don't become enlightened with age...or death." James stated firmly, trying to keep the disappointment from leaking into his voice.

Spencer nodded, and stayed seated. He watched Kahri the whole time.

Mariah kept singing the whole time. When they got to the school, she sat there. "Ready?" She asked him.

She studied him for a moment, then walked over to the door and opened it for everyone to come in. She put on a small smile, trying to make them feel as welcome as possible.

She couldn't help but smile at his small frown, although she quickly hid it, not wanting him to see it. Listening to him speak, she looked out of the window, and realized she needed to go soon. "Oh. Well, in that case, I really have nothing to ask you. James? I have to go into the school for something, but you can come if you like." Pausing for a second, she said, "It sucks, huh?"
