Lily stood in horror, hearing her name announced on the speaker. Tears flooded her eyes. She would never see her family, that was most likely. 2 peacekeepers pushed her into the train. She banged at the windows, yelling for her family. "Mother! Ian!" Lily kept on shouting until her throat grew dry. She pushed the tears out of her eyes and gave up. Banging and swearing wasn't going to help.

Austin looked over at the new girl. "Whoa, calm down," he eased yet he knew it wouldn't help.

Rena saw that the girl didn't want to answer so she walked over to the table that seated all 24 tributes. "Only one comes out..." she whispered.

Lily turned to see the boy with her face red with tears. She tried to steady herself, but she couldn't help but exploding. "Don't you miss your family?!" she blurted out. Lily wanted to drink back the words, it was too harsh. "Sorry," she quickly apologized.

"Oh its fine," Austin brushed off, not bothered by her comment. "I'm an orphan."

Lily gazed into the boy's face. She began to wonder if he would want an alliance, since she was just a little girl who wanted her family. Ugh. She just liked this boy. But she couldn't. Not in the Hunger Games.

Austin left her and walked over to Rena, hearing what she had said about only one coming out of the Games.

Rena jumped at the touch of someone next to her. "Oh hi," she stuttered.

Lily jumped out of her seat, realizing she would need to train or eat. She browsed a bookshelf, then finding a survival book. She flipped a few pages. Ugh. Boring, except for one. Making snares, it said. Of course, she would need traps for food!
