Oh, did Rena know about herbs? That's just like me. I love herbs and I like archery. It's a bit different, though. She doesn't know any weapons. Well, she's probably useful. I want to be with her so much.
Austin nodded. "Okay, here why don't I teach you about weapons first? By the time we get into the arena you'll be as deadly as a Career," Austin smiled walking over to the sword rack, vacant without the Careers prowling about.
"Oh okay," Rena said softly, reluctant to learn about swords, she preferred bows more but they'd eventually get to that. It wasn't her top skill, herbs and knots were, but she was decent with a bow and arrow.
I go a place where plants were grown. It's not part of the training center, but I did, anyways. "Can you hear me?" I ask to the plants. I know people think it's stupid, but its part of my job to ask if they're okay and healthy.
{Yeah sorry I was typing a REALLY long answer in another RP}
Rena walked over to the sword rack and grabbed the sword Austin instructed her to take, it was light but soon he'd have her get heavier ones. And to make it fair he got one too. They practiced for about an hour, their swords clinking away as they practiced. Austin seemed to be really in the battle and had lightly cut her shoulder. She let her sword fall to the ground with a clank and put her hand to her shoulder, gritting her teeth in pain as the blood slowly dripped out, it wasn't serious but it hurt.
Austin gasped in shock as he realized what he had just did. Leaping down to her side, since she had fell to the ground once she had been cut, Austin had Rena move her hand and looked at the cut. It wasn't deep but it could do with a little patching up. "I'm so sorry Rena, I didn't realize tha-" Austin got cut off by Rena's soft voice. "I know Austin I'm going to be fine, lets just go on to bows..."
