Rena followed Elster and Pris to her room on the 7th floor, there she went to her room and sat on her bed and played with her necklace. Something inside it started to glow green. A moment later a bright emerald green light shot out of it and into her face. The weirdest part was that it started speaking to her. "Hello my tribute," it said. "H-hi." The light crossed her room over to the window. "Are you ready for it?" Rena walked over beside it, confused. "For what?" Ominously, she didn't know that balls of light laughed but it did. "The games silly! You need to be prepared." She smiled warmly. "Don't worry I will first thing tomorrow. But I was wondering...what are you?" Again, the light laughed. "Oh my darling, I am yet the Mockingjay." Astonished, Rena turned to look at it. "First Elster and know this? Wow..." The light came closer to her and spoke now in a hushed voice. "If you need any guidance in the arena, speak to me by simply turning the leaf on your pendant. But no one can know about me, understand?" Rena nodded her head in understanding. "Good, now i'll talk to you in a bit." She drifted across the room and back into the necklace that Rena left on the bed. She quickly raced over to the bedside and grabbed the necklace but gently. Slipping it over her neck, she tucked it under her gown and went to her bed. Curling up in the soft fabrics, she drifted to sleep.
Austin followed his mentor and stylist to the elevator, which brought them to the second floor. "I'm gonna go and get some sleep," Austin moaned as he stumbled to his room. Once in, he shut the door behind them and lay back against it for a while, resting his head. How can these people deal with all the commotion? Yes of course he was from District 2 and they always had machines blaring but this was different. It was overrated. All of the silly clothing. The ridiculous make up. And petrifying body changes like tails and skin dying. It was too much. Of course the girls in his district went overboard with fashion but they weren't even close to what the Capitol was capable of. Literally. When he was little and saw his first person from the Capitol, he would lie awake at night and refused to sleep, scared that they would come back to him in his dreams and terrorize him. Austin stood up straighter and walked over to his bed, shooing away the Avox that was waiting on him in his room. See what the Capitol does to people? They cut their tongues off if they were disobeyed. It was madness that had to stop.
