Nurse: "in the hospital. You three had a nasty fall"

"I-I'm in a bed! W-with a mattress in it!" he said happily surprised one of the nurses gave him a weird look when he said that.

Yeah. You are." daniel said going in the room on crutches. A nurse went to him. "daniel, yoire not supposed to walk around"

"im not technically walking." he said

"Yeah... Do you hang around anyone here? Just wondering, because I'm new and looking for some friends." Victoria glanced up and back at her feet. It was as if someone else was in her mind.

[The PSIentist]

"Y-your on crutches?!"
"Ok now we just called your dad he's going to..." the nurse said but was interrupted by Austin saying
"Oh no not my dad!"

He should really talk to Rose, Josh thought. Strange thought, especially now. There was a lot of things that he could say, but Josh knew that if Rose was here instead of him, she would think of something better. Josh wasn't sure how long he was standing still, thinking, before he finally spoke. "Honestly, I don't know. That's what I used to think just about every day, and I could never really find an answer. But I do know that one person in your life can make a huge difference on how you live it." God, I sound like a fortune cookie, Josh thought. "About two years ago, Andy wouldn't talk to me. He acted like I wasn't there because I told him I was gay. I told my other friend, Rose, too, but because she's Rose, she loved having a gay best friend. When I told her Andy wasn't talking to me, she talked to him for me. Two days later, Dad got pissed off at me for some reason, and he started... well, being Dad when he was pissed off. Andy came home and made him stop. He hasn't let me out of his sight since then." Josh paused for a second, realizing that he was going to sound more like a fortune cookie now than he was before. "Sometimes it takes a really long time for people to get used to things, and sometimes it takes them five seconds. Sometimes the people who you want to accept you are the people you should be avoiding."

Ezekiel sighed and nodded then it suddenly clicked to him, "Wait, you're gay?" He asked with raised eyebrows. That probably sounded like he wasn't paying attention to the rest of what Josh was saying. "Sorry, it's just... I've never actually known anyone else who is." He said somewhat sheepishly. "Um, but thank you... for what you said. It helped... a lot." He smiled weakly.

The pa blared "you may now go to class as usual." and the janitor was mopping the pools of blood up


Daniel nodded "yush. And why not your dad??"

Austin realising what he had said scrambled for words "N-nothing nothing at all"
"ok were just going to do some tests on you in the other room she said to Austin.

(Dude, I've got writer's block. That entire thing was a result of staring at the computer for nearly an hour.)

"Yeah, I am," Josh said. He was actually a little bit surprised that anything he had said was even remotely helpful. Usually he just scrambled for words until he sounded like a ranting idiot. "And you're welcome."

Amber nodded. "I do, but I haven't seen them in a while," she answered.

"I see" Victoria zoned out, staring at her shoes. She heard someone in her head, rambling on about how she should go to the pet store and buy a lizard. "I don't want to." Vic said through closed teeth.
