Inez caught the bread in her hand. She closed her fist, crumpling the slice in her hand. She ate the ball of squished bread quickly. She dusted off her hands and looked at him silently.

"That desprate for food?" He rose an eye brow. His mood swing was fast. It went from murderous to amused in less than a minute.

[peachie.]

Inez nodded quickly, her stomach growling. "I haven't eaten in forever." she spoke. She reached out a shaky hand and snatched a slice of bread from the bag.

Dallas tossed her the whole bag. "Take it. I won't eat it, and I don't think the others will either."

Inez picked the bag of bread and cradled the loaf in her arms. She slowly looked up at him. "Thank you." she mumbled

"You tell anyone I gave you bread, and I'll hang you by your feet from a tree." Dallas growled.

Inez flinched from his harsh threat, but nodded quietly. She began to unwrap some more slices of bread.

Dallas watched, leaning against the wall.

Inez sat cross legged, slowly unwrapping the bread. Her shoulders hunched forward as she gently unwrapped the bread. She blinked her brown eyes as she stared at the bread. She took one slice, ripped it up into small pieces, and popped them into her mouth.
