Lily nodded. "Yeah, I think. I really need to find some sort of shelter though." she told him. She sat up the rest of the way, but still held onto his arm for support. She still didn't feel one hundred perecnt better.

Jared woke up and found that Jayde was leaning against his shoulder, fast asleep. He looked around the cave and saw that her bird was perched on a ledge in the wall. He yawned and closed his eyes. But he did't try to fall back asleep because it was almost morning

Natalie gave Steve most of the meat. He needed it. Then she walked over to Austin. "Austin, wakey wakey." She whispered quietly in his ear. She didn't want to disturb him. But they had to eat.

Austin furrowed his brows and slowly opened his eyes. He got to his feet and sauntered over to Natalie like a zombie, staggering and moaning whenever he almost fell over. He stopped when he reached the inside of the cave and fell to his knees, yawning. He then got onto his stomach and drifted back to sleep.

Jayde opened her eyes so see her cheek was rested on Jared's shoulder. She quickly pulled away with a frown and looked up at Astatine's perch. Once she spotted the bird, she released a short, low-toned whistle and the macaw flew down to her. "Thanks, Az." Her stomach growled and she stood, heading toward the exit.

Jared opened his eyes and saw that Jayde was up and moving. "Morning. " he mumbled. He stood up with a yawn. He stretched his arms and looked around, seeing jayde walk towards the entrance. "What's up?" he asked her

Jayde paused and looked back. "Morning. I'm going to find breakfast..." She mumbled a reply and slipped out of the cave. She limped through the forest for a ways and started to wonder how she would find food when the hurricane had destroyed nearly everything. The crunch of dried leaves caught her attention and she drew an arrow from her quiver, nocking it and slowing turning toward the noise. A tiger and two cubs. She quickly pulled back the bowstring and narrowed her eyes at the predators. Taking the girl for a threat, the mother bared her teeth and snarled.

Jared heard a snarl from outside. He immediately grabbed his sword and headed out of the cave. He sneaked along after Jayde, his footsteps barely audible. He came up behind Jayde and saw the tigers. He held his sword at his side and waited for Jayde to tell him how to procede since she knew more about the area and had been here longer

Jayde lowered her aim and glanced at Jared, mouthing: Sheath your sword. If they just backed away slowly, showing they weren't a threat, they would possibly move on. She turned her head to the boy again and mouthed: Don't turn your back on it. She continued to back away and grabbed Jared's arm when she passed him, telling him to follow.
