I sit down and lean against the wall of the cave, ready to sleep. I know it's not safe to leave no one on guard, but I haven't slept for like a while. I close my eyes, drifting off into a sleep. My dagger in hand, ready for any fight.

Jayde watched the boy until he drifted to sleep before whispering to Astatine. The red-fronted bird chittered quietly and shifted off the stone blade, flying up to a perch hidden the cave wall. Jayde wrapped her cold fingers around the stone and glanced at Josh one more time before falling into a light, alert slumber. Keep watch, Az.

Out of no where a tiger jumped on me. It wasn't Night, because she was snarling at the tiger who had knocked me to the ground. I screamed as it sliced at my arm, Night jumped on it and hissed visously. I rolled out of the way and moaned as I treid to stand up.

Jayde lifted her head and leaned over, snatching her weapon of choice from the foot of her bed. What was that... I swear I just heard a scream... The girl heard distant snarls and she slipped outside, sprinting in the direction of the disturbing sounds. When she reached the cave of the horse and tiger people, Jayde immediately drew an arrow and nocked it. A wild tiger had attacked one of the other humans and the girl looked hurt. Snarling, the teen released the shot, sending it whistling through the air and puncturing the tiger's hind leg.

Alexandrite froze where he was hearing a snap of a twig, he set his hand on the coiled vine and pulled the loop off, giving him access to the vine, he quickly tied a knot to make it into a lasso. His blue gaze turned down to his feet as he continued on to the sound of the snapped twig; carefully watching his step. He looked up to see a dark tawny horse, he stepped to the side hiding himself behind a tree. He peeked around settling the lasso in his hand, he stepped around the tree throwing the lasso, the lasso landed around the horses neck, he quickly tightened the lasso.

I watched as an Arrow hit the wild tigers back leg. I lay helplessly on the ground, while Night knocked the other tiger off her. I felt my leg where the tiger had hurt me and I felt a warm substence. Dang it, I was hurt worse than I had thought. The wild tiger turned and ran, and Night walked over to me and began t lick my wound.

When the tiger ran, Jayde sent another arrow after it. She exposed herself for a second by running out of the bush, sprinting across the clearing, and diving into another bush. After a few minutes of following big, padded tracks and trail of blood, the teen found the tiger with the pointed shaft potruding from its chest. She removed the arrow from the dead cat's leg before sliding the second arrow from its ribs. The second shaft had entered behind the elbow of the beast, sticking through the ribs, lungs, and heart before exiting halfway through the chest. She grabbed its hind legs and began pulling it back to the cave.

"Night. Night. Go find some help." I said weakly. I winced each time her toung licked my leg. I moved her head gently. "Go get some help." I told her again, before the world faded to black around me. My last consiouce thought was 'I'm so sorry Colton.'

When Jayde reached the hidden shelter, she dropped the tiger by Josh, shaking him to wake him up. "There was a girl attacked by a tiger. Do you want to help her out?" The girl didn't really desire helping the other teen but she didn't want her brother and friend thinking she did it.
