I nod my head. "True dat." I mutter under my breath and look inside the waterfall. "This is actually quite nice." I say and look around, "But I need to go do something. I'm going to hunt and gather." I say and then leave, out into the woods again. I take my dagger, holding it tightly in my fist, hoping to kill anything that comes into my path. I kneel down at a patch of berries, examining them carefully. They look like raspberries, so I take a leaf-full and hide them on the large branch of a tree, then mark it with a slash in the ground. I keep going, spotting a small doe. Grinning, I lock my eyes on it, and throw my dagger harshly. The dagger whizzes through the air, and stuck into his neck, and I quickly grab a rock. The buck begins to run, but I throw the rock at it's head before it can and knock it out. I know it's not dead, but I'm determined to kill it. I run over, pulling my dagger out and kill it quickly before it awakes. I look at the doe, sighing. It doesn't have that much meat on it, but I decide it will do well. I grabbed the front legs and drag it, but change my mind and just drag it by all fours. I come to the clearing, panting. "You need to help me. Now." I say and wait for Jayde.

She rolls off the flame-kissed fur and jogs out to Josh. "Yes?" She asked, eyes darting back and forth between trees. She slung her quiver over her shoulder and hung the bow across her chest. What was so urgent?

I roll my eyes. "Over protective much? It's heavy, I need to pick it up." I say, and grab the two back legs, and waited for her to grab the two front ones. I wait impatiently, my fingers moving around on the legs of the deer.

The girl just smirks and circles the kill, grabbing to fore legs. Astatine flew out of the cave and perched on Jayde's shoulder, eyeing Josh. If Az doesn't trust him, I'll throw him out. The girl decided. But the macaw flapped his olive hued wings and transfered over to the boy's shoulder. Okay...

I lift up the doe carefully, then walked backwards to the cave. I feel the macaw land on my shoulder, but dismiss the thought of being hurt."'Kay, just tell me if I'm gonna fall off the ledge." I say to Jayde as we go towards the cave.

Solar

I come to a small clearing in the forest, and sigh in relief to see the light. I prefer open spaces to the forest, in certain conditions. When I feel secure enough, I drop my head and nibble on the long grass. My ears flick from side to side, making sure no predators come.

"You're good." She reported, leaning to the side to watch where he was going. The girl heard the barely audible snap of a breaking twig from behind her. Jayde stiffened and looked at Az. Seeing he was relaxed, the teen dismissed the possible threat and continued helping with the doe.

I nod and bring it behind the water fall, and place my half on the ground. "She doesn't have that much meat on her, but she'll keep us alive for a while." I say, sort of to myself. I tkae my dagger and wipe the blood off of it on my pants, and look up at Jayde.

Jayde tilted her head, looking down at him. "There wasn't two?" She asked. She could've sworn she saw two sets of tracks that headed in the direction of where Josh took down the doe. Astatine hopped off the boy's shoulder and hobbled over to Jayde's tiger hide, tucking his wings and settling down.

I shake my head. "No why?" I ask. 'The doe could possibly have a baby with it.' I think.

"Nevermind..." She wandered over to her bed and curled up, watching Josh. Her bow was at her feet, quiver beside it and the stone knife was underneath the macaw. The girl narrowed her brown eyes. He'll probably kill me in my sleep...
