Harper
Harper was about to go join Destiny and Viola when he spotted Andrew out of the corner of his eye frantically searching through her note book. He remembered how he just decided it wouldn't completely hurt to attempt friendship with her after making her cry earlier. He saw her crying now and felt his stomach back flip. "Uh.." He mumbled, then came over to Destiny and Viola. "I'd join you chicks, but I have to do something." He said this in kind of a stressed tone, not caring to hide it. And without waiting for a reply, he headed over to Andrew. "The sprinklers got to you too..? And sorry for leaving you for a second there. I went to go say hi to Destiny when that whole scene played out. After that I couldn't find you until now." He began in a light tone, hoping somehow he could stop her from crying for whatever reason she was. He was a typical 'Can't stand the sight of a damsel in tears' kind of boy.
Ozara
Ozara gave a smile, feeling very paranoid and uneasy, hoping a tear wouldn't pass the 'sunglasses' barrier and slide down her cheek. She felt like that had already happened a couple times, but he didn't seem to see. At his mention of the word 'paper', which was somewhat delicate at the moment, Ozara's throat tightened and welled up with a vexing pain. "Offended? I'm offended to the point of tears. Don't you know gentlemen don't ask ladies to borrow money?" She questioned him jokingly in a matter-of-fact sort of way like she loved to. At this point, she wanted to let loose with sobbing. Ozara assumed that at this point the undying urge would finally settle. To her shock, it was just worsening. In fact, a quick sob came through. One of those awkward forced ones that make your whole body jerk. She turned herself away from the door, back to Cole, ripping the sunglasses off so she could wipe the tears clear of her face. "Alright. I'm not OK." She managed in a less than sturdy tone, afraid to turn toward him. They'd just met today. They were hardly friends. And now he was practically the first human being to witness her crying. How awkward can it get? Crying in front of a newly appointed partner in crime.
That's all she was thinking. How ashamed she was. Worst case scenario? He'll slam the door for me and call me a whiney brat who needs to stop trying to get attention from guys. She figured, even though that was the freakin' opposite of this case.
