Bella was almost crying. It was starting to hurt... So much. She was breathing harder now. "Lucas...!" she cried out. This was only going to get worse.

Lucas rolled down the window and watched as the cop walked up to the window and looked inside at them both, about to give the speech about how fast they were going and what not when Lucas butt in. "I was going too fast- i know. But my girlfriend is about to give birth and I really need to get to the hospital!" he said looking at the surprised face on the officer and let out a huge sigh of relief when the cop stepped back and said "Well get going! Just forget I even stopped you!" as Lucas started again down the road.

Bella had a few tears rolling down her cheek. Breathing deep she hadn't even looked at the cop. "Lucas..."

Lucas put out his hand and took hers and said "We are here.." as he pulled up infront of the emergency door and parked the car. He let go of her hand just to get out of the car and run around the front to help her out.

Bella squeezed his hand for the few seconds she held it. Then when he opened the door she grabbed his hand for balance.

Lucas helped her out of the car and put a hand around her waist to steady her as they walked inside. They didn't even make it to the front desk when a nurse had grabbed a wheel-chair for Bella and was taking both their names as they walked into one of the rooms. He held her hand feeling her grip tightening.

Bella imdeately sat down in the wheelchair when the nurse came. She squeezed Lucas 's hand. It was the ivy she wouldn't scream out. She tried to keep her breaths deep and calming but it wasn't happening.

Lucas was glad when they finally made it to the room and Bella was moved onto the bed which was hopefully better for her. A doctor walked in and looked at the two teens, maybe a little surprised but didn't show it as she started asking questions. "How long ago did your water break?" she asked Bella which Lucas guessed was to also help distract her even a little.

Bella wasn't sure. She knew it wasn't to long ago... "Maybe a half and hour ago? 20 minutes?" she said taking her mind off of giving birth.
