Brittany walked outside and looked around. She sat on a tree trunk.

A: Ashlynn put a net into the weakening rise, catching enough fish to feed her older sister, who was currently looking around for edible roots and plants. Oh it was hard to live when your only companion was a year older than you and neither of you could hunt... Unless if you count fishing? We lived in a cave, with little food but we were accustomed to it..with both of our parents dead, how could we possibly be living off expensive Capitol foods. The reapings were going to be soon. She had told her sister she was the only one to take a tesserea.

E: ember walked in the lush green forest, whistling. Almost instantly the mockingjay's took up his melody. He beamed with pleasure as the birds repeated him. He made a little whistle an even a mockingjay landed near him. Then he saw brittney and smiled. "hi." he called softly to the stranger he had always stared at during class. "so the reapings going to be soon.." he said as if trying to start a conversation.

A: Ashlynn looked around the meadow, and finally sighted her older sister, Maggie, who was named after their grandmother mags. "Maggie! i've caught a couple fish! we can go to the hob to trade, and did you get any edible plants?" she asked.
