Nick shook his head, thought a minute, shook his head again, and finally he said, "You know, I had a sister named Nicole. She died in a wreck 2 weeks ago. But ya' know what? No pressure!"

Character Nicole:
I felt my face boil over and my lip quivered. "I-I am so sorry." I felt my eyes water. "You can call me something else. Anything if it helps. I am so sorry." I felt a tear roll down.

"Nah, it's okay! Don't cry! I got over that wreck long before I even should've! Y'know why? Because I was always the one to be brave in my family! Once my mom saw a bear and screamed, so I ran out and saw the bear, ran back in, got a gun, and killed it!" I said, putting my arm around Nicole. I whispered to her, "You know what happened to that bear? He fell over on his back and bled out. Then I ate him all by myself since my mom and dad were to chicken to eat with me."

Character Nicole:

I looked him in the eye and absorbed his words. "A bear??" I smiled. "I would've eaten it." I shyly smiled while wiping my tears. "And guns are always fun." I laughed lightly.

I smiled, but inside I was having that oh no feeling I usually always have. It seemed like she liked me, and that wouldn't be good! I finally cracked up, " I wish you were there! Would've lit up my dark night, eating a huge bear all by myself and somehow managing to not gain weight...

Ryan finished her food and unsure what to do she excused herself and walked to her room and started to sing a little song to herself

I laughed harder. "Tell me you cooked it Nick." I smiled and raised my eye brows slowly and cocked my head. "You did right?" I relaxed and smiled.

"Don't worry, I did," I said. "Best way to eat it in my opinion! Not cooking a freshly killed bear would be like eating soggy bread!"
