"I'm sorry," Alec said quietly. He debated about telling her about his night-mares and decided against it. "Slater promised vanilla with choclate chip cupcakes for breakfast," He said with a small smirk.

"It's ok. And cupcakes sound good," she said, looking back over at him. She noticed that his face looked troubled. "You ok? You look like somethings bugging you," she asked him, concerned

Alec's grip tightened as the passed the four-way stop. "Just bad memories," He said quietly loosening his grip as they drove past the four-way stop. He turned down a white rock road.

"Would those memories have anything to do with why you were kicking all night?" she asked him. She watched as his hand clenched on the steering wheel. She sighed and looked back out the window, the wind blowing her hair around. It felt great.

"Yeah. Night-mares," Alec said also rolling down his own window. They were close to Slater's house now as he turned down a long paved road that led to his house.

"You wanna talk about them?" she asked him. She wasn't going to puh him to do anything. But if her wanted to talk, then she would be there to listen. She rew her hair up into a messy bun as they got closer and rolled up her window. She had no idea who Slater was either.

"Later I promise," Alec said as he pulled up into Slater's drive-way looking up at the all too familiar house. "Slater gave her the dream she always wanted. Living way out here with a large, and almost always lit with sunshine, house." He said quietly rolling up his window before he turned off his car and shoved the keys into his pocket before unbuckling his seat-belt.

Sydney smiled as she looked up at the house. If she could pick anywhere to live, it would be way out here too, where you could actually see the stars at night. She loved the city, but there was just something about being out in a huge field at night, surrounded by stars. She suddenly remembered something. "You've taken me to a biig field before, haven't you?" she asked as she got out of the car and gazed at the house.

Alec nodded his head as he shoved his hands into the front pockets of his jeans. "Yeah, twice. Last time was three days ago and we went swimming," He said quietly as he walked towards the front door slowly. (writers block)

"Okay," Sydney said as she walked with him. At least some things were coming back to her. She stopped at the front door and looked at him, not sure if they should knock or just walk right in. She smiled and held out her hand.
