Alec nodded, although he was still concerned abotu her. He kissed her gently and pulled back. "Don't lie to me Kitty," he told her quietly.

Sydney looked up at him and smiled faintly. "I'm not lying," she said. She would be fine. Eventually.

Alec kissed her again once more before pulling back from the hug but kept his arm around her waist as they walked towards the covering.

Sydney kissed him back and walked with him, glancing around at all the people who had come. She turned her head and spotted her dad's grave from where they were walking.

Alec could tell that she wanted to go see her dad and he would be visiting his best friends grave as much as it hurt. He still blamed himself for it as the continued walking and tried to get his mind off of it the best he could.

Sydney looked back back over at Alec and smiled. "C'mon," she said quietly, trying to put her dad out of her mind. It did her no good to dwell on unhappy thoughts.

Alec squeezed her hand as they walked under the tent as the preacher droned on and on about stuff he wasn't bothering to listen to at all. When the preacher was finally done he backed up from under the tent looking up as a slightly familiar black car pulled up. He shared a look with Slater as he took off running towards the car. "Smart one. He's gonna fall and I'm going to laugh so hard." He said with a small smirk watching him.

Sydney turned around and watched as Slater ran to the car. "What's going on?" she asked, curious. She looked over at Alec and smiled, glad to see that he at least looked a little bit happier, if only for a moment

"Slater's fiancee," Alec said sliding his arm around her waist watching Slater. He'd ran to her, and picked her up spinning her around nearly kissing her a million times despite her bruises.

Sydney smiled. She was really happy for Slater. "I thought she was being held hostage or something," she said. She remembered that she and Alec had promised Slater that they would help him find his fiancee. "Did you have something to do with that?" she asked, turning to him. She smiled up at him, waiting for his response.
