"You'll see," Jayden said, slipping out his phone. He dialed up a well known number. "Do me a favor... I don't care... fine," he groaned hanging up. "First things first, let's get out of the cold," He said, with his arm still around her waist and walked towards the door, holding it open.

Savannah smiled. "Okay, and if your having troubles with... whoever that was, girls can be quite scary you know. I could help" She said, giggling, walking out. She pulled him with her, holding his hand.

Sydney frowned. When she elevator stopped at the lobby, she stepped out with him and walked outside to his car. She didn't like the idea of him having nowhere to stay. She would have offered for him to stay with her, but she doubted her mom would be happy about that if she found out. She sighed as she gto in the passenger seat. "I wish I could stay with you," she muttered. wondering if he had even heard her

"You got a tree by your window?" Alec asked her quietly as he got in the car. He set the duffle-bag down in the back and put the keys into the ignition backing out of the hotel's parking lot and headed out onto the main high-way through town and back towards their home-town.

"Yeah, why?" Sydney replied. She leaned her head back against the seat and sighed, preparing for the long drive home.

Alec shrugged slightly. "Just wondering," he said quietly glancing down at his phone from where he'd placed it on the console as it vibrated. He placed it on speaker before continuing to drive. "Guess what?!" Jessie asked, practically yelled all hyper-like. "What?" he asked. "I got chocolate shots!" he yelled, and you could hear him bouncing up and down on the tile. "How many did you drink? Jessie you know coffee makes you crazy," he said with a roll of his eyes. "Don't roll your eyes at me! But its so good!" he complained. "How'd you know I'd rolled my eyes?" he asked. "Alec, I know you. I'll see you later. Oh bye the way, Hi Sydney!" he yelled before the phone clicked off. Alec shook his head softly turning off his phone.

Sydney smiled and laughed softly as she listened to Jessie on the other end of the phone call. She was about to say "Hi" back, but he hung up. "You have some crazy friends," she told Alec, smiling.

Sydney smiled at him. She leaned back against the seat and began to doze off, even though she had taken a nap this morning. When she woke up, she started to recognize where they were. "Are we almost there?" she asked, hating that the question made her sound like a little kid

"About a half-hour now. Do I need to drop you off at your house first before going to the funeral home?" he asked her, wondering if she wanted to let her mom know that she was fine.
