"They don't wanna hear him fuss about why we didn't invite him," JJ whispered to her as Ty walked over to him. "So how was your gig?" Ty asked.

Sydney busied herself with the leftover salad on her plate while discreetly studying Ty. She kept her head down and waited to see what JJ would say. She looked over at the dessert bar and saw Alec looking at them. He's so brave when it comes to anything physical, but when it comes to talking he's such a wimp she thought lovingly

Alec waved and motioned for her to come over there. He eyed the cake and attempted to cut a piece and placed in on a small plate grabbing a fork. "What'd you Ty?" JJ asked checking him over. Aside from his broken hand, nothing was wrong. Ty shrugged. "Who's that?" Ty asked. "Alec's," JJ said and smirked as Ty's eyes widened. "Not possible," he said, eyes wide as Alec walked back over to them.

Sydney got up and walked over to Alec, but as she walked away she heard Ty's comment. She smirked and continued to walk over to Alec, meating him halfway between the table and dessert bar. "Hey," she whispered. She thought about what Ty had said and, on a whim, she leaned in and kissed Alec softly. When she pulled back she smiled and giggled quietly

"Hey. What was that for?" he asked after he'd kissed her back. "You better share this with me," he said motioning towards the piece of cake.

"Ty can't believe I'm your girlfriend, so I'm having some fun," she said, smiling. She nodded when he talked about the cake, then reached for his hand and walked back to the table with him, a tiny smirk on her face when she thought about what Ty's reaction might have been

Alec laughed, sliding his arm around her waist as they walked back and slid into the booth. "Where'd Ty go?" he asked JJ. "Food." JJ said and Alec nodded.

Sydney smiled and slid back into the booth, picking up her fork and taking a bite out of the cake. "Wow. You're right. This is really good," she told Alec

Sydney smiled and blushed. She took another bite of the cake and looked up to see Ty looking over at them. She smiled to herself and continued eating the cake
