Sydney smiled and followed Devon and the waitress to one of those corner booths that could sit more than five people. She scooted in so that she was sitting between Alec and Jessie. She noticed that she was exactly in the middle of all the guys and smiled to herself. She looked over at Alec and squeezed his hand gently

Alec squeezed her hand back. "So are we ordering or looking at the buffet? 'Cause either way, I'm getting some of that cake even if I have to pay seperate," he said making them all laugh and shake their heads.

Sydney smiled. "I'm ok with anything," she told him. She looked around the table and and smiled, glad to be around so many people that had the ability to make her happy. She looked around the resturant as well, noticing a lot of girls her age staring at their table. She sure hoped they weren't staring at her. The she realized that she was the only girl in a group of guys. She smiled to herelf when she realized this. No wonder they were staring

"People are staring at us," Jessie muttered poking Devon in the side making him jump and slide out. "I'm looking at the buffet," he said walking off, JJ and Devon following him. "Yeah, we normally have the buffet." Alec said with a small smirk. He knew what they were doing.

"Somehow, I don't think they're all that interested in the food," Sydney said, laughing quietly. She smiled at Alec and leaned against his shoulder, happy just to be with him

Alec laughed softly, smiling and slid his arm around her waist as they came walking back, though Jessie was carrying two plates. He slid the second one over to Alec. "I've known you forever, I know what you like to eat. Don't look at me like that," he said with a small smirk.

Sydney smiled and picked some food off of Alec's plate. She smiled at him and laughed softly. "So you want me to put in an order for that cake?" she asked, teasing him
