Avery shrugged. "I dunno," she said honestly pulling a hair band off of her wrist and pulled her hair up into a messy bun.

"Cake is good," he said defending himself scooping her up once more though he could hold her close now, as he didn't have to worry about hurting her leg.

Sydney laughed. She motioned with her hand for the other guys to c'mon. They all walked outside and Sydney couldn't even believe anything bad had ever happened

The door opens and Nathan's mom walked in Nathan moaned

Alec spun around in circles for a second before walking towards his car, unlocking it.

Avery looked at him confused twisting around to see his mom. "Hi," she said quietly. She never liked meeting new people, it scared her.

Alec got in and backed out of the venue parking lot heading towards Luby's.
