"Sorry. Didn't mean to scare you." he said. "You ok?" he asked looking back at her.

She laughed and rolled her eyes with a smile. "I wasn't." she said still smiling.

Calla nodded. "I'm fine." she said to him. She held his gaze quietly for a moment. She blinked and looked away. Her eyes revealed too much of her thoughts, and since he knew her he would easily be able to understand what she was feeling.

Logan crossed his arms over his chest tightly. A chuckled rumbled deep in his chest. "Okay." he said smug with amusement. Spencer was interesting, and unlike most girls he knew.

"Hey." he said turning her around and hugging her. He pulled away and smiled "I'll beat 'em up next time. Okay?" he asked with a wink. He wasn't one to fight, and even though he was joking, if someone were to mess with any of his friends he would stand up for them.

"You know" she said with a smile "I'm surprised you haven't ditched me for the party yet." she laughed. "You know how many girls you could have right now?" she said with a wink the smiled. "And your outside, sitting in a tree." she said still smiling.

Calla hugged him back. "Okay. If your version of beating people up is sitting them down and talking." she teased him with a grin. She reached back and untied her hair. She smiled softly, it felt better with it down.

Logan rolled his chocolate brown eyes. "I know your surprised. But truly, girls just try and get my attention in there." he said and motioned towards the house. "Some just want to play cruel games. I love trees! I want to be a tree!" he said with a chuckle.

He smiled as she took her hair down. He laughed "Your totally right." he said with a smile. "You know I'd beat some one up for you though." he said sticking his tongue out.

"Well, I'm getting your attention out here." she said with a smile. "That's true." she agreed with a shrug. "Girls are really mean." she said with a laugh. "Hey! You can be whatever you want!" she laughed.

He smiled as she took her hair down. He laughed "Your totally right." he said with a smile. "You know I'd beat some one up for you though." he said sticking his tongue out.

Calla smiled back at him happily. "Oh I know." she said and winked at him. "Why did you follow me out here though? I was trying to escape the awkward-" she stopped not wanting to bring up how embarrassed she was about kissing his cheek.

Logan pursed his lips. "You just said you are mean. Real smooth." he said with a laugh. He nudged her lightly with his elbow. He smiled brightly. "Okay then, I am a tree!" he declared.

He blushed a little bit thinking about how she had kissed his cheek. "Fine then." he said with a smile. "I can just go back" he said teasingly turning around to head back to the kitchen.

"I am mean!" she said with a laugh. "Just not as mean as some girls." She giggled. "A tree, in a tree!" she smiled. "How ironic."

Calla followed him. She grabbed his belt, trying to stop him, but ended up being dragged along behind him. She dug her heels into the ground, but she kept on being dragged by him. "Your a lot stronger than you look." she grunted.

Logan laughed and shook his head. "Your not mean!" he said. He grinned. "I'm just a special tree like that." he said and grinned, his white teeth showing.

He laughed "I know. I don't like many people finding that out though." he said with a smile. He stopped pulling away and turned around facing her.

"I am because I'm a girl." she said rolling her eyes shaking her head slightly then laughed. She giggled "Your the leader tree. You can turn into an attractive human. Unlike the other trees." she said with a laugh.
