Peeta raised his head, snapping to attention. After a bit of a struggle, he rose to his feet, just as a doglike creature jumped from it seemed, the ground. Letting out a cuss word, he took off the maximum speed he could go with his leg, the creature pounding after him, breaking underbrush with it's large paws.

Cato

Cato made a bee-line for the corucpoia.Sweat ran down his fore-head,down his face,and down his neck.His face had turned a purple shade from running so hard,and so long.When he reached the giant horn he touched the metal and instinctivly flinched back at the heat but when he turned as saw the mutts closing in he ignored the hotness of the metal before climbing up quickly and pacing quickly to the highest point of the horn which was the lip and almost collapsed,doubling over with cramps that made his stomach tighten and strain causing him to want to puke,but he had noting in his stmach to puke up.He completly ignored Katniss and Peeta to focused on the mutts.

Peeta and I dashed through the woods as quick as he could run. Which wasn't slow.. but wasn't extremely I've got to get out of here fast either.. I looked down. I didn't know what to do. Suddenly, I saw the Cornucopia. I had an idea. I climbed to the top of the Cornucopia with Peeta behind me and kept in the center just a distance from the mutts. Suddenly, I heard a groan I looked behind me and Peeta was gone. I turned around to meet the eyes of Cato. Holding Peeta arm around his neck. I listened to him speak angered by his every word. "You won't get away with this." I told him.

Cato

Cato smirked at Katniss's words.The grip he had on Peetas neck tightened,and a triumphant smile spread across his mouth."Shoot me and he goes down with me" he warned as she pointed her arrow at his head.

Peeta let out a slight shout as he was yanked back, an arm around his neck. He strained his eyes to the side, managing to see Cato, his face bloody, and looking slightly crazed. His blue gaze shifted to Katniss, lips parted to speak, though he couldn't, and could hardly breathe. Katniss, let the arrow go. His eyes spoke.

Katniss Everdeen

I looked at Cato evilly. Suddenly, I had a plan. I winked at Peeta and knew he knew what to do. This way.. we would both survive. I would look at Cato, pretend to let the arrow fly, and Peeta would quickly throw Cato over his shoulders into the mutts. I smirked. "Time to go down." I whispered lowly. I pretended to shoot the arrow.

Peeta knew what she doing, moving his leg back slightly and shifting his shoulder to the side. As she pretended to let he arrow go, he drove his shoulder backwards into Cato's chest, dipping himself down and under from the boy. Incase he hadn't fallen, on his way by, he swung a hard punch, before coming to a stop near Katniss.
