Kate's breathing eased
How heavy fell the rain that day
From burdened clouds of mournful grey.
The torrent forced them stay their height -
Composure swayed by onerous might.
My skin wrung wet with icy chill
As mud embraced that sodden hill;
But mind of mine had elsewhere gone -
'Twas clouds abandoned I was on.

Chase sat on the beach. A lump of sand sat next to him. He ran his fingers along the sand dollar he had searched for most of the day. He checked his phone, no new messages from Coss. He got up with a shrug and walked to the waters edge to rinse the sand off of his hands

Chase turned as he heard the faint sound of wheels. He shook his head. "If can't get used to stupid skateboards, I'll loose my mind," He muttered and walked back towards where his towel rested on the sand next to his 'lump of sand.'
