I chuckled. Wow, I haven't done that in a long time.... "Hey," I called out to her. "You better be careful out there! I don't want you to wipe out or anything!" I hoped she could hear the joking tone in my voice over the waves.

Danielle

She smiled and giggled. "I will be fine!" she called.

[shadows~light]

I laughed to myself and said, "I know, but I'm just making sure." I smiled and got ready for a big wave coming towards me. I stood up too late and wiped out. I was underwater for what seemed like a life time. When I finally surfaced, I was laying sprawled on the sand with the waves licking at my toes. Total. Fail.

Danielle

She gasped, and surfed to land. She threw her board aside and dropped down on her knees near James. "James? Are you okay?." she asked.

[shadows~light]

I coughed a bit to get the water out of my system. I looked up into the bright sun and saw Danielle. "Yeah," I said in a raspy voice. "Yeah, I'm fine."

Danielle

She sighed in relief. She hugged him tightly. "I was so worried! Don't scare me like that!" she said with a slight smile on her face.

I slightly hugged her back in shock, and smiled at myself. "Sorry, I'll try not too," I whispered.

Danielle

She smiled, and let go of him. She then brushed the sand off of her knees, and helped James up.

"Thanks," I said standing up with Danielle. "You ready to go back out there?"

Danielle

She smiled and sighed. "I would like to a bit later. I am going to work on a tan." she said with a giggle.
