Abigail was about to leave the road when she turned around and glanced back at the boys. Giving them one last scowl, she turned around and her heel broke. Letting out a small scream, she hobbled to the bar and sat down. She whipped out her cell phone and called her favourite shoe store for express delivery. After hanging up, she fumed inwardly. This pair of shoes could last a month while using it to shop every day, but it could not last one day in this poor, pathetic town. Of course, she should have expected that. One glance at the roads and she should have turned back. Turning her head, she examined her nails. They looked horrid! Flipping out her cell again, she quickly booked a slot for her manicure.
Jack looked up once more. The rich girls were increasing in number. Now what they would want in this part of town, Jack was curious to know. But heck, why should he care? As long as they left him alone, he would be fine. Keeping an eye out for them, he got back to work. Though he knew they were just shallow Ms. Money Bags, he couldn't help but think some of them were really pretty. He slapped himself inwardly. The rich and shallow should stay on their side of town, while he and the rest of the boys stay on their own side of town. It's better like that, he concluded.
