I open my car door and plop into the seat. "Consider me a tomb-boy." i say. "Oh, and by the way, might wanna kick the door a few times, it dosent open well..." I add. "My mom wants me to let her by me a new one, but i wont let her. Then that would make me EXACTLY like every other girl in town."

Jake looked at the ground below him as he worked, about sick of having to be out here all day just working. He sighed lightly and remembered that if he was not working like this he most likely would not have a home. That thought alone drove him to try harder, hoping that maybe one day he could stop working around here.

She looked at Jake work and motioned for him to come over, though it wasn't a snobby way.

Jake looked up for a second to see one of the rich girls motion for him to come over. He wondered why for a second, but dismissed the thought and stopped what he was doing. Then he walked over and he said, "Uh, yes?" He did not say it in a sarcastic tone, but in more of a confused one.

I look down and fiddle my thumbs "August 23 is my birthday" i murmur.
