He burst through the bushes, Sage behind him, and he pulled her along through the shadows, towards a large meadow with a lake.
Joseph nodded once, and sat down at the edge of the road, kicking the stones around. He was debating whether or not he should tell this boy about their den or not.
Summer lifted Avah up, and put her down in her corner. She wiped her face of the crumbs, and placed a thick. blanket over her to keep her warm.
