Kenji stood up to look around, to maybe see someone or something with the name Joseph on it. She noticed a group of guys walk into the class, but it really didn't matter to her. Well, that was until she noticed a tag on a bag. 'Joey Redly' Kenji read it in her head, Could Joey and Joseph be the same person?... She thought, but she didn't have to guess. She over heard on of the guys who had just walk in say the name, and she turned to look and saw that Joey was the tall guy sitting on a desk with his back to her. Still a little unsure, Kenji walked up to him. "Are you Joseph?" Kenji asked, she didn't really expect him to notice her, but still she asked.

Logan listened attentively as Shain spoke, his yellow green eyes sparkling. He gazed at the drawing with a huge grin. "Sweet," he said, admiring the detail in Shain's sketch. "Well then, congratulations for your longest conversation with someone new." he replied warmly, grinning widely. He chuckled softly, putting one arm over her shoulders comfortingly. It was typical for him to be so friendly. It was just in his nature. He considered everyone a friend, and it was no different with Shain.

Noticing Shain seemed somewhat uncomfortable, Logan pulled his arm off of her shoulders. "Sorry, everyone says I'm too friendly sometimes." He laughed at his own joke. "And, I'm not sure. I think the teacher is waiting for all the partners to get to know eachother before we continue." he said with a small shrug. "Since you already shared about yourself I think it's only fair that I take my turn. My name is Logan, I'm 17 years old, I love skateboarding, telling jokes, and having fun. I have a younger sister, a dog, and a snake. I love animals and making friends." he finished, shrugging once more.

Kenji nodded and smiled a bit, "Yeah. Well alright then, Joey." She said, just so she could get used to saying his name. "I'm new here, so I'm a little confused. What exactly were we paired to do?" She asked him, feeling a little embarresed for not paying close enough attention.

Logan listened once more as she began to speak. "You like to write?" he asked curiously once she had finished the brief introduction. He was shyly interested in writing and drawing himself, though he had never really told anyone. He had already found out that most people thought writing was pointless. Logan had silently disagreed, but shrugged as if it hadn't really meant anything to him anyways. Now, knowing that someone else might be as interested in writing as he is - if not more - Logan felt curiosity making him itch to hear what she had to say.

There was a sheepish smile forming on Logan's face. It was odd for him to be shy about anything, but he was far too excited and couldn't help himself. "I have a secret to tell you." he said, grinning as he leaned to whisper in her ear. "I love writing too." He sat back again and waited for her response. Most everyone understood that being interested in such things could downgrade your popularity significantly, and especially her, since she had seemed to fall victim to such, herself.
