I accidentally let a smile slip, but quickly put my poker face back on. "Yes, I do. I'll talk about anything if you ask it."

Ray smirked "why dont you want to smile?"

I shrugged and said softly, "It's just not me..."

I couldn't help but burst out laughing. It took me several minutes to calm down. When I finally did I said breathless, "Oh man, that was a lie. I didn't want to smile because at my old school everyone thought I was mentally ill or something because I was always smiling and laughing. I thought maybe if I just never smiled, they'd think I was normal. I guess that didn't really work out..." I laughed again at myself.
