Cerise whimpered as her uncle held her arm tighter in his hand. She tapped Chances arm. "Dont... I'll be fine..."

"Property has only a right to it's master. That's how it's always been."

Chance glared at her uncle "that was in the past... your treating her like a slave" he said angrily, ignoring.cerise

Cerise flinched at the word "slave." she looked down, knowing the truth a lot more. She had never considered it that. "chance, stop..." she let tears fall as her uncle's grip tightened on her arm.

Her uncle glared back. "She's still under my guardianship till she's eighteen."

Chance growled and hung his head "fine..." he muttered, giving up

Cerise reached to tilt his face up when her uncle started to drag her away. She let tears fall, knowing she may never see chance again. She didn't want to not see him, but... She didn't know how to tell him. "Chance!"

Cerise bit her lip and looked down. She would have blushed at his comment. She looked at him and muttered... "I'll never see you again..." she lettears fall as she was thrown into the back of the van. She whimpered when she hit it.
