~Tessa & Alex~

Now that he had caught up with her, Alex panted for a minute.
"Are you alright?" he asked her as she stood, but she didn't answer... she was already walking towards the man at the desk, who was eyes filled with irritation at the sight of her walking towards him. But, inevitably, she got distracted.
"D'aw! Look at the dogs!" she cried to Alex, who glanced over. But it wasn't the dogs he'd noticed.
"Whats wrong?" he asked, walking over to three people. A guy, and two girls, one of which was unconscious.

Aaron

I nodded as Skye ran off, put my bags down and went out to my car which was still parked where I left it. Unlocking it, I wound up the windows I'd left slightly open for air, and opened the boot. A flurry of fur and paws rushed by me as four out of five dogs jumped out of the car, leaving Harpy sitting patiently, waiting for permission to move. Being the oldest and the most well-trained, Harpy kept the puppies in check. Tips and Jessie were chasing each other around in front of the doors, while Ari and Link were having a play-fight. Harpy leisurely jumped down, and I shut the boot. Cammie's whistle immediately made my head snap up. Closing the doors and locking the car, I rushed inside, all five dogs following. Cammie gestured to me to follow, and she showed me Skye, who was lying on the floor unconscious. I ran over and lifted her into a sitting position. She groaned and her eyelids fluttered.
"I think she's coming round." I said. Cammie nodded, then went back to trying to stop Link from chewing the strap off my backpack, while Ari attacked her duffel bag.
The receptionist sniffed at the commotion we were causing, but went back to his work. I crouched, staring at Skye, while batting away curious muzzles, hoping she really was coming round.

I felt my head being raised. My eyes tried to open, I tried again but this time they did open. I felt weatness and my face started to reach a smile. I laughed realising there were about six dogs crowding around me. I sat up, then slowly stood up. I was disy. "Sorry, for my stupidity." I laughed. Picking up my bags and walking towards the elevate, holding back tears off pain. "And thanks."

Aaron

I glanced up as someone spoke to us.
"I don't know. Cammie saw what happened, I think." I said, looking at Cammie. She made some gestures with her hands, and I sort of got the message. "She says that Skye was running, then she hit her head and blacked out."
I grabbed Link's collar and tried to catch Ari with the other as they jumped around the newcomers' feet. Harpy was patiently entertaining Jessie so we wouldn't have to deal with her, and Tips was still sniffing after Skye.
"Sorry." I said, fumbling with Ari's collar. "Got quite a few dogs...but they keep Cammie company."
I straightened up and jogged after Skye, Link, Ari and Tips yipping about my heels.
"Hey. You said you had a dog?" I said to her.

~Tessa and Alex~

Alex was in a state of confusion, with the dogs, the girl who wouldn't speak, and the other who had just come out of unconsciousness, but was already walking to the elevator. Not to mention Tessa, who was pretty much oblivious to everything except the dogs, whom she gleefully petted and cooed to, allowing them to jump on her without protest.
"Tessa, come on. You wanted ice cream, right?" Alex asked her, trying to tempt her away from the dogs.
"One minute.. the're too cute!" she said, barely stifling a squeal as she played with them. Alex sighed.

Cammie

I smiled at the girl -Tessa. She seemed nice. Harpy had long given up trying to keep Jessie's attention, and had come to sit with my. I sat on my bags, watching Tessa and the boy with curiosity. What was his name? I felt frustrated with myself for not being able to ask, but I'd sworn I'd never speak again. Well, not with other people apart from Aaron. Jessie, Link and Tips were jumping all over Tessa, with Ari still trotting after Aaron. I felt a temptation to laugh. Once you started petting the Foursome, you never stopped if you did what they said. They never tired of attention. Still, I sat and watched, a smile spread wide across my face.

~Tessa & Alex~

Tessa continued to play with the dogs, soon finding herself on her back, the puppies on top of her, much to the annoyance of the man behind the desk. But Tessa either didn't notice, or chose not to acknowledge the deadly glares he was shooting her way as she scratched and petted an cooed to the dogs. Alex, after realizing that it would take more than ice cream to tempt Tessa to leave the dogs, wandered over to the girl who seemed to be the owner.
"Sorry about... well, that." he said gesturing to the scene before them, with Tessa practically rolling on the ground in laughter as the dogs played on her.

Aaron

"Year I have a jack russal." I said then pressed my floor number, I lay agaisnt the wall and laughed. It felt so easy to talk to him- did I have a crush on him? I pushed the thought away. There was a slight ding noise. I moved in the elevater, "You comming?" I asked.

Cammie

I smiled at the boy, but I was unsure how to answer him - he didn't look like he'd understand like Aaron. Finally, I reached inside my backpack and pulled out my notepad. I scribbled a note down inside and showed it to the boy.
'It's okay. They're pretty cute, so I get it all the time.'
I whistled, it's sharp sound echoing around the room. The puppies reluctantly trotted over, and I stood up. Again, I wrote a note and held it out for the boy to read.
'I'd better go after Aaron. What room are you in?'

Aaron

I nodded.
"Sure." I said, scooping up Ari. "I want to meet your dog."
The lift doors started to close, and I hurriedly glanced back at Cammie. She seemed fine - writing notes to the boy who had come over when Skye had knocked herself out. I walked inside the lift, struggling to keep a hold on a now squirming Ari. I had picked up a few bags - I could drop them off in my room. The doors shut, and the lift started to move upwards.

~Tessa & Alex~

Alex was a little taken aback by the lack of speech, but hid it well.
"Room 13. And you?" he asked her as casually as he could.
Meanwhile Tessa was sitting up in disappointment as all the dogs trotted reluctantly away. She stood up, swiping the fur off her clothes.
"We need a puppy." Tessa declared as she stood, more to herself that to Alex.

Cammie

I did notice the flicker of surprise flash across the boy's face. Quickly, I wrote something down.
'I'm in 28. Aaron's in 27. I'll explain another time - I chose to become silent.'
I thought for a second, then quickly scribbled something else down.
'I know Tessa's name, but not yours. What is it? I'm Cammie - Aaron's my brother.'
