"He could have hit you..in the throat.."he said in a breaking voice.Jordan watched this from a distance as he sat down against a tree.He had caused this to happen.Why hadnt this assassin Jared swung at him.Why hadnt he just killed Jordan whipped out his sword and stopped Jordan from taking that swing.Why did Kyle or who ever SHE was step in? And was Kyle pretending to be a boy..after all these years he knew him and trusted him Kyle was a girl!? A girl that was on love with this assassin that would most likely die by morning.Demetey had done her best but would it be enough? Would he live? And if he did what would happen after.

Kylie shook her head. "And I would have survived. Maybe jad some damage done to vocal cords, but I would have been reletivly okay..." She tore her gaze away from him and looked to Demetry, her eyes pleading. "C-can you save him?" She asked softly, more tears forming.

Demetery shrugged sadly."It depends on his bodies healing conditions..Ive done as much as I can for him..If he dies..."She turned away."but if he survives this which I is a very low chance..then he still has the chance of being caught by the guards in his state of healing anday be sentanced to death for trying to kill Jordan from the king and Queens orders.."she said.Jared layed silently his eyes squezzed shut and he breathed wezzily.His left hand in a fist.

Kylie sniffed, biting her tongue to keep from crying. "O-okay... thanks." She said softly, looking back to Jared. She took his hand and gently pried it open, weaving her fingers in between his own. If Jared was going to die now... she was fully prepared to go down with him. "Jordan," She called out weakly, hoping that what little amount of trust he may still have for her would be enough for his help.

Jordan looked up at her with sad eyes."Yes...master?"He asked.Jared sucked deep breathes trying to keep air in him.

"I-I'm sorry." Kylie replied softly, not meeting Jordan's gaze. "I know I shouldn't of lied to you, but let me ask you a question: If you had have known I was a woman, would you have thought of me the same way?"

Jordan nodded."Your the best Fighter I know..I would be suprised with you skill but I would have thought of you the same.."he said quietly.

Kylie sighed. "Then I'm sorry. But I didn't know, and you know that most people would disregard me as a foolish girl. But now Jared..." She sniffled again, shaking her head. "Could you please help me, just this once? I just need you to help me get him to my chambers, I just need him safe. I don't expect you to understand this, me, us... but I need you to trust me, please."

Jordans Jaw stiffened and he looked from Jared to her.Jared had saved Kyle in risk for himself and he didnt kill Jordan after all the chances he got."Okay..but we have to be fast..the guards dont really believe me so if they see him both of you are dead.."he said.

Kylie felt a sigh of relief escape her. "Thank you Jordan, I promise I'll explain later." She leaned down to Jared and kissed his forhead, brushing the hair out of his fae. "Jared, Jordan and I are going to carry you back to my room, okay? You're going to get better, but we need to get you away from the guards first."
