Jordan and Jared locked swords.Jordan had the lower hand as Jared was stronger.He flipped Jordens sword and Jordan growled and grabbed at the knife in his boot.He caught Jared on the shoulder and Jared grinned his teeth as he scrambled along with jordan for the sword.Jordan caught it fast and jerked it sideway.Jared dodged and swung at Jordan with his fist."back off!"he yelled.Jordan didnt."You were going to kill me!"He yelled charging at Jared with the sword.Jared backed away."Well now I am!"He said.

"Stop it!" Kylie shouted in a strained voice. WIthout thinking she jumped in between them, forch=ing her ahnds outward.
{Feel free to have one of them stab her by accident... }

Jordan swiped at Jared just as Kylie jumped in front of them.Jared saw this and pulled kylie behind just in time for the slash to hit across his chest slicing deep into Jared.Jordan eyes went wide.Jared fell to his knees in pain breathing heavily and looking down at the blooming blood across his chest.

"You idiot!" Kylie cried, knealing down beside Jared. She wasn't even sure who she was yelling at, probably both of them. "Jordan, I told you not to kill him!" tears were now streaking her face, running down her cheeks and erasing the grime she was using as coverup. "I told you to stop!"

Jordan was pale white and shocked."I...Im sorry kyle.."he mumer in a shakey voice dropping the sword.Jared clenched his jaw to hold in his cry of pain and clutched his bleeding chest.His lungs felt like they werent working.His vision was getting blurry.He put his hand to Kylies cheek."I love you."Demetery charged in with shock."What is going on!!!?"she demanded staring at the prince the dying man on the ground and the crying....girl? On thbeside him.

Kylie ignored Demetry completely, not even looking up to see who it was. She put her complete attention on Jared. Her tears fell onto him a she moved quickly so she was cradling his head in her hands. "You promised you'd be careful!" She whimpered, too sorrowful to be angry. "You promised you'd stay with me forever! You promised!" She broke off, bawling freely now.

"I will stay with you forever...I wont leave you.."he said he reached out for Demetery."I cant leave her now..."he whispered.Demetery didnt need to be told what was going on between them..she had figured it out all ready.She got to work on him."Kyle..or whatever your names is! Go get me a plant that looks like this!"She yelled shoving Kylie her plant book to a page of a plant."And Jordan find water and hold off the guards!".

Kylie looked startled for a moment as the book was shoved upon her. She wasn't used to having people give her orders. But what if Demetry couldn't save him? What if she was out trying to find the stupid plant when Jared died? Taking a deep, shaky breath, Kylie stood up and went out in search of the plant, casting a longing glance back at Jared. Was she really placing his survival in the person who just stabbed him and someone she doesn't know? This just motivated her farther though, and she returned with the plant quickly. "Here." She said in a raspy voice, placing the bundle of leaves and the book beside Demetry and taking Jared's hand again.

JordN rN to send the guards out of the garden reporting that the assasin was killed and taken care of.He came back a few moments later with water and some bandages.Demetery ripped open Jareds shirt and began washing at the blood her fingers moving quick till they exposed his open chest still openly bleeding.Demetery cursed under her breath and Jared turned away struggling to breath and stay awake.The pain was numbing and he felt himself slipping away.Demetery grabbed rhe sides of his skin on his chest and pulles out a needle and some thin thread.She began stitching his chest up and mashed the plant up.She put it in his skin as ointment and then bandaged him tightly."Stay awake and breath!"She yelled.Jared could barley breath.It was hard and it hurt.

Kylie whimpered, having the odd feeling that she was in more pain than Jared was at the moment. Seeing the one you love die... it seemed like it would have been easier to die herself. "Jared, hang in there, okay?" She said softly, her thumb caressing the side of his face. "Please just stay awake. Please stay with me!" She was pleading now, tears streaking down her face. Her anger had ebbed away, leaving just a gaping, empty hole. "You should have let me take that hit. I'm shorter than you, it would have either missed me or hit me in the shoulder. Jared, you should have let me take it!" She wasn;t even sure if those words had actually left her lips, they were quiet all right.
