Evan glanced at Lawrence and gave a smirk. "Hey daddy," he said, with a child-like voice before he went back to being serious-at least as serious he could get. "I don't need anything from it, just like, freedom."

Nell•

Nell quickly snatched up the key and paper. "Sweet!" She squealed, rolling the key between her fingers. She looked at Evan. "Congrats on the un-orphanism." She said happily.

"Just stay out of trouble," Lawrence replied as he rolled his eyes, "I don't want to get calls at 3am telling me my 'son' has been arrested."

"Now then," Skorn added, "Where are the others?"

Evan stared down at the paper, really, he had all he needed and wanted. But he had to protect Max, get Max out of trouble. "A barn," he finally stated.

Nell•

Nell looked at Skorn, then at Evan. "Most of them, at least. Some ran off to God knows where." She growled, the key in her fingers protectively. She gave her usual half smile at Evan. Him and his riddles.

Skorn stood up, "Well if you want to play games about this, then we'll just do this the simple way. You'll show me where it is. You try to run Lawrence calls the cops back on your tail for being a runaway child since he's your guardian now he can do that. You try to warn anyone and Lawrence will let you go meet my Father and you can enjoy his company for the next several years."

"I'm taking the hint that your Father isn't the nicest man in the world?" Evan rolled his eyes, not moving out of his postion. His feet still kicked up on the table. His hands still behind his head. He really did want to get Max out of trouble, but he was weighing possiblites in his head. Max over a bunch of kids... Max would eventually get out of Juvi, but the kids would have a lifetime of pain.

"I don't think he's ever said a single nice thing," Skorn replied. "You know how bad I can be? Nothing compared to what he is."
