Clear scowled playfully. "Oh really?" She called to him and ran ahead of him again, her red hair flying behind her.

Nell

Nell didn't look at any of them, just stared at the corner angerly, still tapping her finager nails. "Just one more thing, then we have a deal. You have to promise not to hurt anyone." She snapped, still not looking at them. Her eyes broke from the corner and looked at her casted hand. Nell scowled. "No one deserves to be in pain." She said, copying Evan. Her green eyes looked at him, worried.

Evan watched Skorn for a moment, then smirked at Nell's last demand. He crossed his arms over his chest, his legs still kicked up on the table.

Nell

Nell half smiled, proud of herself. She ran her fingers through her pony tail, smirking to. "So, we got a deal?" She asked harshly, her only green-grey eye not covered burning.

"You seem to misunderstand the situation," Skorn replied, "It's not just me who is prone to violent acts. The other children have attacked me and my co-workers before, we fight back often in self defense, yet you're sitting her demanding no one gets hurt? It's not the simple. Now will I go around busting knee caps or breaking legs? No. I arm myself with tranquilizer guns, nets, road blocks, smoke bombs, stun grenades, and other items that are not used to hurt but control groups. Yet you must understand if someone knocks me down and kicks me, then it's only natural I fight back in self defense so considering the track record of everyone, and really that does include you, to promise that no one gets hurt would be impossible at least without telling lies, and I am a man of my word. So with that being said it seems we have no deal and I will have to leave you to the police who by now have checked those addresses you wrote down and the names of your "guardians", possibly even called one to see if they know you. Of course, I already told them you're from the orphanage, also I really hope neither of you threw any punches during the fight."

Nell•

Nell's half smile faded. "I was behind the bush the entire time. I didn't hurt anyone. And even if I did, it would be for self defense, like you said. So I shouldn't be getting in trouble. But oh well. I always knew the law was going to catch up to me." She snapped bitterly, then waved him away with her hand. "Now, if you must... Leave." And with that, Nell had nothing else to say to Skorn except, "Remember, you owe us some stuff for information."

"Really, from where I sat it sounded like the deal was off since I in no way can meet the last demand," Skorn replied getting up, "Unless you're dropping that demand which then we're back in business otherwise I'll track down what happened the old fashioned way."

Nell•

Nell's green-grey eyes widened. "No..." She gasped, then scowled. "Fine, the last demand is off. Just try your best not to hurt anyone purpose." She warned, looking at Evan. "Have anything to add?"

Evan had remained quiet during the whole exchange, which, knowing him, was very difficult. Finally he nodded, "Yeah, I have one last thing." Charming smile and dramatic pause. "You have GOT to keep that Myna chick, and that Tibe dude and Torquil away from me. Then we have a deal."

"Considering what I'm going to do to keep you out of the orphanage, they won't touch you if they have any common sense," Skorn replied, "I suppose our deal is back on, right on time too." Skorn sat back down as the door to the room opened allowing Lawrence and two other guys in. One had a long metal case in his hand the other had a Xbox. The two guys set the boxes on the table then left the room to wait outside while Lawrence got a seat and sat down beside Skorn.

Skorn looked at Evan then Nell, "Now then tell me about the escape plan."

Evan glanced over at Nell, prepared himself to do some ratting out, then started to speak. "Well, all the most of us knew was that we were supposed to gather in the dining hall. And at the second shot we were supposed to run for the door. Which I'm guessing you already figured out."
