Annette Freeman
Once she and her horse were both outside, Annette removed the temporary rope attached to Ginger's bridle, replacing them with some worn-out reins. She slipped back inside the barn, putting the rope back and grabbing her horse's saddle. She walked back outside, closing the rusty barn doors behind her, and applied the saddle onto Ginger's back, tightening the girth just a bit. She stepped back, a discrete smile slipping onto her lips as she nodded to herself. "Looks like we're just up and ready to go, aren't we gal?" She murmured quietly, stroking the horse and placing a foot in the stirrup closest to her, hoisting herself up completely. Once the girl was settled into position, she dug her heels lightly into her horse's sides and let out a small 'whoop' of joy as they raced off towards town, Annette's blond hair streaming out behind her as she crouched low on top of her horse.
Soon, they reached Fairfax county, and Annette let out a small 'whoa', pulling back on the reins a bit, as they entered a crowded area. It was late morning, and lots of commoners and other people were out and about, trading, buying, and who knows what. She carefully weaved her horse through the crowd, mainly trying to stick to the sides and not get in the way of others. Once she saw the hotel up ahead, she decided a drink wouldn't do any harm; everyone had a drink this time in the morning. She stopped her horse in front of a hitching post, lowering herself to the ground and hopping off. She tied her horse up to the post and patted her on the side, "You be a good horse, now; ya hear?" With that, Annette rolled up her sleeves once again and clambered up the steps of the hotel, swinging open the doors and heading towards the saloon.
