Annette Freeman

Once she and her horse were both outside, Annette removed the temporary rope attached to Ginger's bridle, replacing them with some worn-out reins. She slipped back inside the barn, putting the rope back and grabbing her horse's saddle. She walked back outside, closing the rusty barn doors behind her, and applied the saddle onto Ginger's back, tightening the girth just a bit. She stepped back, a discrete smile slipping onto her lips as she nodded to herself. "Looks like we're just up and ready to go, aren't we gal?" She murmured quietly, stroking the horse and placing a foot in the stirrup closest to her, hoisting herself up completely. Once the girl was settled into position, she dug her heels lightly into her horse's sides and let out a small 'whoop' of joy as they raced off towards town, Annette's blond hair streaming out behind her as she crouched low on top of her horse.

Soon, they reached Fairfax county, and Annette let out a small 'whoa', pulling back on the reins a bit, as they entered a crowded area. It was late morning, and lots of commoners and other people were out and about, trading, buying, and who knows what. She carefully weaved her horse through the crowd, mainly trying to stick to the sides and not get in the way of others. Once she saw the hotel up ahead, she decided a drink wouldn't do any harm; everyone had a drink this time in the morning. She stopped her horse in front of a hitching post, lowering herself to the ground and hopping off. She tied her horse up to the post and patted her on the side, "You be a good horse, now; ya hear?" With that, Annette rolled up her sleeves once again and clambered up the steps of the hotel, swinging open the doors and heading towards the saloon.

Will

"Lizard!!!" I shriecked joyfully. Rushing forward trying to catch the small green body. I gave a big grin as I sliped in the dust, laughing. 'Come on' Sam, let's cetch the lizard'." I smiled back at my twin sister. "No' Fay said we must look nice to meet teacher'!" Sam called from the porch of our home. "Ya'll ready to go into town'?" I heard Coulton drawl. "Coulton watch!" I shreicked before jumping into a small pile of dust.

Fay

I fallowed Coulton out onto the deck and groaned when I saw Will jumping around in the dust. "Will!" I gasped in shock. Know he was going to meet Ms.Walker covered in dust. Will turned around and gazed at me. "What?" He asked his blue eyes sparkling. "Forget it." I said taking Sam's hand. I whistled for my dog Jane and she came running from our barn, Fallen and Sun folowing her.

Coulton

I grinned as Will jumped up and down in the dust. Poor Ms. Walker, I wonder how she well keep order with Will in her class. "Come on Will'!" I grinned, heading to go and get our horses. Dawn * Sam's pony*, Ginger * Fay's Mare*, Winter * Will's pony*, and then my stallion Blaze. I helped Sam and Will onto their ponys before I jumped up onto Blaze.

He sauntered over to the bar and took a seat, the bar tender already knowing what he wanted. He caught the glass as it slid across the bar counter top and took a gulp of the drink before him. He leaned against the bar, one hand wrapped around his drink, the other on his gun, more for comfort than for safety reasons. Work had been slow lately, and he had taken that to his advantage. He had plenty of time now to just hang out around the saloon, watch the pretty girls try to impress him. He smiled faintly, still sippin on his whiskey.

Annette Freeman

She entered the saloon, noticing loud country music was already playing and there were showgirls dancing and flirting everywhere. She couldn't help but roll her eyes at the them as she took a seat next to some guy, with a hand on his gun, and she summoned the bartender over. "Somethin' strong." She said simply, slipping a few coins across the counter as payment. The bartender nodded and went off to make her drink. Annette payed no attention to the man next to her, figuring it was just another arrogant cowboy. Everyone around here thought they were the next in line to be deputy, just because they were such good horse-riders or great shooters; it was ridiculous. Before she knew it, the bartender came back with a small cup of strong whiskey. Annette nodded her thanks, taking the cup and raising it delicately to her pink lips, taking a long swig. She was much like a boy in that manner; she never had been one for manners or being ladylike. She often got into brawls and spoke impolitely.

"Hello there pretty lady." He said to the girl next to him with a wink, turning on his legendary charm. He shot one of those pearly white smiled in her direction, his southern accent rich. He tipped his hat to her politely and took another sip of his whiskey, shifting his position to turn around and get a better look at her. She was definitely one of those rough tough save the world type girls, much different from the simple minded saloon girls he flirted with all the time.

Kenzie was already in the bar at work, flouncing around like she had no care in the world. She smiled flirtatiously at the boys around her and brushed past some of them with a mischievous smile. This was the best job she could have. She could play with the pretty little big boys all day long...

Coulton

"I'm going to the bar'." I told Fay as we entered town. "I want to come!" Will called after me. "Alright' But only water for ya." I drawled at Will. We rode up to the bar and I tied up out horses. I walked in Will right behind me. I took a seat. "Water for the boy and something strong for me'." I said to the bar tender tipping my hat. Will claped his hands smiling as the bar tender handed him his glass of water. "Yeah!" He mumbled taking a sip, the water sloshed onto his shirt. "Opps." HE said in his sweet little voice. I rolled my eyes and turned the man next to me. "Hey." I said tipping my hat in greating.

Annette placed her now half-empty glass on the counter with a small clink, turning to face the guy next to her as he called her a 'pretty lady'. She wasn't much used to having men flirt with her, but she didn't act exactly timid or shy, despite his handsome smile and good looks. "I don't reckon I was named 'Pretty Lady' as a child." She replied simply, lifting the glass to her lips and finishing off the small cup. She set it down again, still looking over at the guy next to her with pretty much an emotionless gaze; she could be a tough cookie to crack. When some other cowboy, next to the feller she'd just met, greeted him, she took this chance to get some more whiskey. Turning back to gaze around for the bartender, she spotted him and let out a small whistle, "Hey, bartender; another glass." Reaching in her pocket and pulling out another coin, she tossed it to him as he arrived in front of her, behind the counter, and caught the coin. He nodded obediently and slipped it in his pocket, taking her glass and rushing off to get her some more liquor.

Will

"Hi!" I said to the girl who sat at the high counter. I gave her my tothy smile and took another sip of my water'. "I'm Will." I said through my water.

Coulton

The bar tender handed me my drink and I took a sip. I watched as Will tried to talk to the woman who sat at the bar. I laughed a little bit as he talked with his mouth full of water.

Once the bartender returned with another cup of whiskey for the blonde, she murmured a quick 'thank you', turning around again as someone greeted her. She looked down, noticing it was a little boy; were little boys even allowed in the saloon? Oh, well; who really cared anyways? Sheriff Brady wasn't all that strict. She nodded slowly to the kid, raising the cup she had in her hand to her lips and taking a small sip before putting it down and replying, "Howdy, little cowboy. What's your name?" She was genuinely pretty nice, but wasn't gushing and oozing with happiness, like most of the harlot showgirls around here. She had a good soul, but was pretty aloof, with a no-nonsense attitude, at first. She took another sip of her whiskey as she waited for the boy to say something.

Will
"My names Will." I said smiling at the nice lady. Looking up at her I saw she had a hat like Fay's.

Coulton

I rolled my eyes as Will smiled and talked to the woman. I took another swig of my drink.
