He looked at her as she opened the box he waited to see if she liked it or not, it was an art book with Kayleigh on the front of it, and it was hand made, not by him though.

Kayleigh looked down at what wasinside. Her face seemed to light up and she smiled. "Oh my gosh, thank you" she said delighted.

Richard smiled " its not much" he blushed

Kayleigh smiled as if she was a child getting her first bike. "It's great" she said happily.

Richard stroked the puppy's soft fur and lifted lola onto his lap

Kayleigh smiled at Richard.

Richard sniggered once more before smiling at Kayleigh " well we should get some dinner" he said. he picked up the puppy and limped towards the door

Kayleigh smiled at him then watched hin limp. "Shouldn't you be resting your leg though?" she said. She didn't want him to hurt his leg any more than he had already.

Richard smiled " na it'll be ok" he walked down the stairs slowly but had to put the puppy down,

Kayleigh wasn't sure but npdded anyway. She slipped the art book Richard gave her into her pocket so she wouldn't damage or loose it then walked slowly with Richard. She noticed him struggeling and tried to help him down the stairs.
