Travis didn't let go of the tigger.

He pulled the trigger. The weight of the gun pulled him back a little. One of the enemys shot at him. "Sh*t!" Spencer said. He fell back. It hit his plate, but he hadn't known it.

A cannon went off, the bomb landing a few feet from the humvee that Nick and Spencer were in. Nick didn't notice

"Bomb!" Spencer yelled. He stood back up. He grabbed Nick's arm, running to take cover.

Nick squeaked a little as he was pulled away, but ran with him anyway. The bomb went off, and Nick pulled Spencer to the ground. He covered the back of his head, and clenched his eyes tight.

After the bomb went off Spencer crawled to the nearest sand dune, making sure Nick was close by. He sat there for a minute then started to shoot.

Nick was shivering a little, and a peice of the humvee had hit his side pretty hard, while a rock has hit his head. but he still looked over and shot a few more times, though his mind was else where. He could've died if he hadn't been dragged away. He would've never gotten the chance to see his wife and kids -and still might not see them if he gets killed out here.

"Cover me." Spencer told him. He ran to the other side, where there was more cover. Spencer fired his gun.

Nick stopped shooting when it grew quiet. The enemy was retreating.

Spencer sat his back against the sand dune. He breathed heavily, then looked over at Nick.
